"Are you sure you don't want us to come with?" Clay asked Kes and Copper, "Because, even though we weren't invited, your mom and I could still come with."
"Hey," Copper said, "you were only a few years older than us when you freaking ended a war, and Mom had already become arena champion, for all the moons!"
"Fine," Clay sighed, "but promise to stay safe."
"And watch your language." Peril playfully scolded her son.
As their family said their goodbyes before Rising Colors left for the Gale Gala, Pyrrho remembered a time his family was like that, he wanted that time back.
After Draco had dissapeared, his mother had divorced his father and left Phyrrhotite and his sister's egg at Rising Colors to go find Draco. They hadn't seen eachother since.
Now, they were leaving to the Gale Gala, one of the fanciest parties in all of Phyrria, held by the SkyWing queen each year to celebrate the finale of the annual race across the mountain range of the Sky Kingdom. They had been invited because the queen herself had heard aboit Rising Colors, and thought the organization spread great messages for young dragons who needed it, so now they were on their way.
