The next day held a long length of flying, Cardinal remembered when his family had met Constellationtracer. They had talked and laughed with him, seeming to like him almost as much as Ember did.

It wasn't right, didn't they see how left out he was? It seemed like the only other dragon in the world who felt the same was was Firefly, who, being his younger sister, was able to see just how annoying he truly was, and she wasn't coming to the Gale Gala with him. She didn't care.

That wasn't even the worst part, Ember and Connie had figured out their prophecies and didn't even tell him. Ember had been giving a messed up prophecy almost her whole life, "The been for years dragonets come. The has dragons fear dragonets come. Three who and and two die one learn."

Yeah, it was pretty weird, but they had figured it out. Apparently, Constellationtracer had been having a similar prophecy, and if you took a word from his prophecy and then one from Ember's until you ran out of words, it makes, "When the war's been won for twenty years, the dragonets will come. When the land has few dragons to fear, the dragonets will come. Of three queens who blister and blaze and burn, two shall die and one shall learn."

It was very similar to the Dragonet Prophecy from twenty years ago, so it's probably some sort of reprise.

It didn't make sense, but Cardinal didn't care. He and Ember had tried so hard to decipher the prophecy since Ember first delivered it years ago, and he wasn't even told first after they figured it out days ago.

It was just annoying before this, but now Cardinal felt really hurt, Emner was basically a sister to him, but it seemed as if she had forgotten that.

Cardinal beat his yellow and white wings to propel him up toward Ember whose deep green eyes were closed as she glided above on her red and silver wings.

     "Ember..." he said.

"Hmm?" Ember opened her pine-colored eyes to face him, and then let out a sharp gasp, "Oh, Cardinal!"

Cardinat turned to see what she was looking at. Through the jagged peaks, a castle's towers cut through the sunset sky, the Sky Palace.

"We made it!" Ember giggled, swooping up to make a large circle in the sky.

I'll talk to her later. Cardinal decided, We need to get to the palace by nightfall.
