Tyler laid in bed all alone. Sadness coursing through his body. Wanting the comfort of Josh next to him, but each time he reached for him, he sadly realized he wasn't there.
The small boy sighed out slightly. He hated when Josh had to go into work. He preferred when the older male could work in his at home office instead. Though some things couldn't be done at a home office. Tyler just had to accept that.
The boy never knew what to do without Josh. The older male was basically the only reason Tyler got up in the morning. Why he even did anything throughout the day.
With reluctance filled in his bones, Tyler stood from the comfort of the sheets. Regretting his decision quickly when the cold hit him. It was always hard to get out of bed on his own.
Tyler hadn't been feeling things like this for a while. Normally Josh was around. The small boy never had to worry about evil thoughts inside his mind with his boyfriend around. He protected him. Made sure he was safe. Right now though he wasn't there to do that. It was awful.
The tiny boy moved across the room. Stepping outside into the living room. Slightly uncomfortable with the silence all around him. Josh didn't even leave the tv on. Not that Tyler even told him to so. It would've helped though. Maybe, anyway.
The small boy went through his daily routine. Leaving some things out here and there. Not having the energy to do so. Not when Josh wasn't around.
The only time he felt happy was when the occasionally text from Josh came through.
To many it would be sad how dependent Tyler had become on Josh. Though to him, Josh was his everything. Took care of him. Made sure he had a roof over his head. He'd be nothing with his boyfriend. Yeah, maybe that was a little pathetic. Not to him though.
As Tyler got back in bed he heard the door open. A smile quickly formed on his face. Jumping up and running out of the bedroom with full speed.
'Daddy!' He cried out. Jumping into Josh's arms. Wrapping his smooth legs around his boyfriends waist. Nuzzling his face into the crook of his neck. Mewling softly.
'Hey, Princess.' The dominant male whispered. Wrapping his arms around the fragile boy in his arms. 'Everything okay?'
'No. I missed you a lot. You were gone so long.' Tyler mumbled. Snuggling closer to Josh. 'It's already seven. You've been gone all day.' He spoke out. Feeling tears welling up in his eyes.
'I'm here now, Baby. It's okay. I'm not going anywhere for a while. I'm all yours.' The older man cooed. Hoping his soothing words were having an effect as he walked them to their room. Laying the brunette on the bed.
'Let me go get changed and then we can cuddle, okay?'
'No, I want you now.'
'Hold on.' Josh said softly. Taking off his blazer and tie. Trying to pull the suit off his body as quick as possible. Soon leaving him in just boxers.
He crawled into the bed. Laying beside Tyler. Pulling him close. 'I'm here, Baby. I'm here. Daddy is right here.' He repeated several times. Rubbing his boyfriends back gently.
The pair didn't move the whole night. Laying with each other. Clinging together like life depended on it.
They needed each other. They both knew that and that's all that matters.
They were going to be okay.
