With my AP Bio stuff in hand, I slam my locker shut and turn around, about to head off to class until I feel cold metal touching my back and see Matt standing over me. He is at least six foot, so I have to look up. "Go away." I say before trying to shove past him only to be pushed back. "Not so fast, Princess." He articulates.
"What do want? And I told you, stop calling me Princess." I try to move past him, again, but Matt grabs my wrists. I gasp, dropping all my stuff. Matt shoves me back and pins me to the locker, so I can't move. I gulp, Matt smirks as if he can sense my fear, "You, me, next Friday, party, wear something pretty." He winks and then walks away. I scoop up my stuff from the ground. Ding, ding. That's the warning bell and now I have to run.

Saturday morning I wake up, get ready, eat and start on my homework. I finish around two O'clock and decide it would be nice to just relax for the rest of the day and read. I grab my book and throw my feet up on the window seat. As I'm nearing the end of the book I hear a ping come from window. I ignore it because I really do not want to book the book down, but then I hear it again and again and again. Finally, I look over and see Matt throwing pebbles at my window. Good God, I open the window and go back to my book. I feel something hard hit my arm, I look over at Matt, "Ouch!" I yell. "Sorry." Matt calls, "I'm bored."
"Well what do you want? I'm trying to read."
"Ooh, what are you reading?"
"Why do you care?"
"Like I said, I'm bored."
I roll my eyes, "It's called 'The One', now will you please leave me to my book, it is really good and I really do not want to put it down."
"Is it part of the series?"
"Yes."
"Which book is it?"
"The third one and I'm really excited to see America end up with Prince Maxon."
"How do you know if you haven't finished the book?"
I look over and raise my eyebrows, "You have got to be kidding me. She is the main character and the book is about her and Maxon's relationship. I mean I know she cheated, but they already had that fight and they made up and I'm pretty sure he's about to propose! As you can tell I am very excited."
"Okay!" He raises his hands in defeat, "They end up together."
I smile. "Now please I would like to get back to my book." I focus back on my book until I feel a sharp pain in my arm. "Ow! Would you stop that?" I look at Matt incredulously. He just shrugs and says, "I'm bored."
"So when you're bored you throw pebbles at girls trying to read their books?"
"No, you just happened to be there and you left your window open so..."
I shake my head, "I am not doing this."
"Doing what?"
"Bickering with you, I have a book to read." I grab the window and pull it down.

Monday rolls around and we get our assignments in AP Bio: we have to research one of the parts of the cell. Matt and I got the mitochondria, the powerhouse of the cell. We deiced that I would go over to his house at three to get a head start on the project.
Ding dong, I ring The Woods' doorbell. Elizabeth opens the door, to my surprise. "Oh, hello Mrs. Woods, is Matt here? We're supposed to work on a project for Biology."
"Yes, he's right upstairs. Matt," Elizabeth calls, "Ronni's here to work on your project." He walks down the stairs, "Oh, hey, we can go up to my room to work."
"Okay." I comply.
"It's the first door on the left."
"Alright, I'll go set up my stuff."
And I will go get us a snack."
"Sounds good."
I walk up the stairs and set my bag down in his room. I start doing a once over and then decide to take a lap around the room to see if I can find my journal. The door slams, I jump. Matt smirks, "Looking for something?"
I shake my head, "No, why would you say that?"
"Oh, I don't know," he takes a step forward, "I may have your journal. I was wondering why you didn't protest going up to my room."
I take a step back, "Well your mom's home so I had no reason to worry about coming up to your room."
He steps forward, "Really?"
"Of Course." I take another step back and my back hits the wall.
"Well," he steps in front of me and places his hands on the wall, "one, you're a bad liar and two your journal isn't here, I'm not stupid."
"One, I am not a bad liar and two, how do I know you're not lying about where the journal is?"
"Ah, you see that is what makes a good liar."
"Oh, I see. Do you maybe want to move? I mean we do have a project to work on."
"Whatever you say, Princess." He pushes off the wall.
"Stop calling me that!" I complain, "Okay so I'll look in the book for information and you can look on the computer?"
He smirks, "Sure thing, Princess."
