Hello again! Here is the fourth chapter of my story, if you like it please vote and comment. I hope you enjoy!

"...I'm gonna keep my baby, mmm..."

"Woah the chick next door's got a voice," I hear from the window, "hot damn."

I walk over to it and yank the curtains open. I clear my throat, "Can you keep it down? I'm trying to practice here."

"What for?" Matt asks.

"My audition tomorrow."

"Audition for what?"

"Women's and Mixed Varsity and Show Choir..." I reply slowly, weary of what stupid nickname they will come up with now that they know I'm in choir. "Oh," Matt raises his eyebrows, "nice."

"Yeah, well I really need to practice so can you guys...I don't know...shut up?"

"Oh feisty, I like it." Max articulates.

Matt gives him a look and then turns back to me. "As you wish," Matt bow, "Princess."

"Thank you and stop calling me princess." I shut my curtain.

"Drama Queen..." One of them says. I pull the curtains back open, "Heard that." I slam my window shut. Finally, some peace and quiet.

With my IPod in hand, I enter the choir room. Mr. Adams looks up from the piano, "Are you ready?"

"Yes." I smile.

"Alright, you can plug your phone in over there."

I walk over to the stereo and scroll down until I reach my guitar accompaniment. "Okay, I will be singing 'Papa Don't Preach' by Madonna." I press play and back up quickly. I take a breath and begin...

"Papa I know you're going to be upset

'Cause I was always your little girl

But you should know by now

I'm not a baby

You always taught me right from wrong

I need your help, daddy please be strong

I may be young at heart

But I know what I'm saying

The one you warned me all about

The one you said I could do without

We're in an awful mess, and I don't mean maybe - please

Papa don't preach, I'm in trouble deep

Papa don't preach, I've been losing sleep

But I made up my mind, I'm keeping my baby, oh

I'm gonna keep my baby, mmm..."

I think that the rest of the audition went smoothly. The sight reading was fine and the harmonizing was pretty easy. The dance wasn't too hard, but then again I was in show choir at my old school.

Afterwards, I say thank you to Mr. Adams, grab my stuff and leave.

I fish my phone out of my pocket and quickly dial my mom's number, since she had to go into work early she wanted to give me a ride.

"Hello." She answers.

"Hey mom, I finished my audition, can you come pick me up?"

"Oh, honey, I have to take your sister to dance. I guess I thought your audition would end before 3:30. Can you walk home?"

I sigh, "Yeah, mom, I can walk home."

"Okay, bye sweetie, love you."

"Love you too." And with that I hung up. I push the school doors open and begin my journey home. As I am about to cross the street, a motorcycle pulls up next to the curb. And with one quick motion the driver takes off his helmet, shaking out his dirty blonde hair. Oh great, the driver is Matt. "Need a ride, Princess?" He smirks.

"No, it's fine. I can walk home and don't call me princess."

I start to walk away, but he just keeps following me. I try to ignore him, but all efforts go out the window when he says, "I'm just going to keep following you until you hop on or until we reach your house. " I give in. "Fine, I will get on your death trap, but if you kill me I swear to you will come back from the dead and personally strangle you."

"Princess that what helmets are for and if you're going to kill you would mind making it quick and painless."

"Well that wouldn't be any fun now would it?" As I climb on the back, he shoves a helmet on my head. "You know, I can put a helmet on myself, right?" I question. "And stop calling me princess!"

"Yeah, yeah, better hold on, princess." And then before I can say what, he speeds off. I gasp and quickly wrap my arms around his torso. I feel Matt laughing at misery. The ride home from school isn't long so we arrive in no time.

I climb off of the motorcycle and take off the helmet Matt gave me. As I hand the helmet back I can't help but ask, "What were you still doing at school?"

"Oh, I got detention." Matt responds nonchalantly.

"Of course you did, well thanks for ride. That was kind of fun.

"Anytime, Princess." He winks before putting his helmet back on and driving back to his house.
