Haunting Thoughts

Repeatedly, over time, we are going to age. And there is nothing that we can do to stop it. Sure, we feel as if there has to be something that we can do, something that can stop this. But there is nothing but our thoughts that will occupy us when we find out that this isn't true. There are no facts to back us up that we can live forever. Sure, in the Bible there are readings showing that Jesus's disciples lived longer than we have, maybe even more than 800 years. But they knew that their time was numbered.

Compared to them, we have completely degraded in quality. The average lifespan for us everyday humans is roughly from 70-100 years of age. Now, we are getting more advanced with our medicines and all that jazz, but that won't save us in the long run. Other people would say that Jesus's disciples lived longer because they were closer to God, and I believe that. And I wish that we could be the same as them, but that isn't going to happen. Every time that something new comes out, whether it be technology or a new perfume, we are pushing ourselves away from something bigger. While we see this push as good, nothing good is coming out of it.

My final message to all the readers is that, in the world, there is no good and evil. There is just evil or good, depending on how you look at it. Some people don't know very much good and this shows through their actions, making them seem evil. These people are the ones that we worry about because they are the ones seeming to be holding us back. To me, these people are the biggest tests of our lives, the ones that the little tests and quizzes back in grade school don't compare to. For if you fall to the evil or less good, if you bend to its will, then you fail. You are taken away, and will never be put back where you belong. So beware, because these people and quizzes are everywhere, no matter what you think.
