"I'm going to say this quick, kid." Jimin's fingers curled around the handle of the younger male's knife, his gloved hand grasping the other's bare one. "I don't have time for you, or whatever's going on in your brain right now that's making you think that you're intimidating. The minute I feel that blade even prick at my skin, I will not hesitate to pull this trigger."
The younger's eyes widened, gulping as he became even more aware of the gun that was pressed against his forehead. The metal was extremely cold, not letting him forget that it was there. "Didn't anyone ever tell you not to bring a knife to a gun fight?" Jimin mumbled, voice soft as he tapped his fingers along the handle of the younger's blade. "And you've seen my face too... What a shame, I can't have anyone seeing me at a time like this. If you snitched, I might just lead a trail back to a bunch of other unsolved things."
"You won't actually kill me." The brunette sounded all too confident, albeit the waver in his voice. "You'll be locked up longer for murder than for theft."
"'Locked up'." Jimin laughed, looking up into the other's eyes. "You say that like you're confident I'm going to get caught." He blew a few strands of hair out of his eyes. "I've been at this for longer than you're even aware of. I'm practically an expert at covering up my tracks." He paused. "What's your name?"
The younger male took a deep breath, heart beating erratically as he looked Jimin in the eyes.
"My name is Jungkook." He answered. "Jeon Jungkook."
"Jeon Jungkook." Jimin repeated, testing the way the name felt on his tongue. "Nice to meet you, I'm Jimin." His words were contradictory to the situation, making Jimin chuckle softly after he spoke. "How old are you?"
Jungkook was trying his hardest to answer confidently, although it was hard to when he had the barrel of a gun pressed to his head.
"I'm seventeen. Eighteen in a month." He finally sighed, Jimin's eyebrows shooting upwards in surprise.
"Seventeen?" He asked, the younger humming in response. "What's a baby like you doing taking on a big boy job like this?" Jimin laughed, Jungkook scowling in response. "What could you even want to rob a bank for at this age? Isn't mom still giving you lunch money?"
Jungkook's expression darkened.
"Mom's not around." He answered, Jimin raising an eyebrow at the response.
"I'm sure there's a sob story behind those words." Jimin replied, not giving Jungkook time to speak after him. "But I am not in the mood to hear it." His mouth morphed into a smirk that sent a shiver down Jungkook's spine. "So give me five good reasons why I shouldn't shoot you in the next ten seconds."
Jungkook's eyes widened, panic truly setting in then as he stared death in the face. "Tick tock." Jimin prompted, tightening his grip on the gun.
"I'm still young." Jungkook stuttered out. "I've still got a whole life ahead of me; you wouldn't steal that from me would you?"
"Ah the guilt trip." The older chuckled, pressing his finger teasingly lightly against the trigger of the gun. "Oldest trick in the book Jungkook, give me something new."
A bead of sweat rolled down the side of Jungkook's face.
"I'm..." He paused. "You said it best, I shouldn't've been even trying to take on a job like this. I.. I'm an amateur. If you let me off the hook now, you'll never see me again." He took a deep breath. "If you do, you can shoot me dead on the spot and I won't put up a fight."
Jimin merely rolled his eyes at the younger's words, pushing down just a tad bit more on the trigger and watching as the younger's eyes flickered nervously up to his hand.
