Chapter Four

            You wake up, stretch,  and head to the bathroom. Once you're done using it and brushing your teeth, you head into your room to get dressed. You put on a hoodie and sneakers and put the glowy raindrop thing you found yesterday in your pocket. "Mom? Dad?....." You yelled and they didn't answer. They probably left for work. You walk downstairs, put on your backpack, and head outside to wait at the bus stop. You text your friend while you wait for it to come. Once it pulls up, you get on and sit sorta near the back. You don't really have many friends on this bus so you usually sit alone. The kids are really quiet this morning so you look around, and most of them look like smiley guys. This is fucking weird. Once it pulls up to the school you get out and run downstairs to go to breakfast with your friends. "Hey (Y/n)." Derek said. (i'm gonna put in random names of friends and stuff so ye) "Hello. Where's everyone else?" You say. "Ah, I don't know i just came here and they usually get here before me but they aren't here I guess." He said. You guys get breakfast and joke around and then when the bell rings you guys walk to class together. "Have you noticed how there's a lot of people acting weird lately?" Derek asked. "Yeah. Like, they're smiling and standing straight and being really happy and stuff. It's so creepy." you reply. When you guys get to class you both sit down and wait for the bell to ring. The teacher walks in and writes her name on the board and smiles. You and Derek look at each other. "Hello! I'm Ms. Therrian and i'm your teacher!" She says and half the class goes, "Hello!" You look around and see that most people are smiling and shit. "Um, we already know your name?" Derek says and everyone looks at him. "Dude what the fuck? Why'd they all look at you?" you whisper to him. He shrugs. You guys just go on with the class until the bell rings and you guys go to your lockers. "Do you still wanna see that thing i found?" You ask him. "Oh yeah! I forgot about it. I was gonna ask too. But yeah, show me." he says. You take it out and show it to him. You look behind him and see people look at you. You look behind yourself too and see more people looking. They're the smiley dudes but, they aren't smiling anymore. "What?" you say. "Give that to me now." A teacher walks up behind you and grabs your shoulder. "Don't touch me." You say and walk away. You look at Derek and his eyes are wide and looking behind you. You stop and turn around and see the teacher except, his arms are longer, he's way taller, he has really long claws, and a big ass head. "I said give it to me." You just stare at him, and then Derek, and then you run to the door. The huge weird thing chases you down the hallway and screams and it fucking hurts your ears. You get outside, but the thing gets you. "You want it? Here." You pretend to throw it on the ground and he drops you. "HAHA YOU DUMBASS" you yell and try to run away but it pushes you to the ground and crushes the glowy raindrop thing and it breaks. You feel it sting your hand and arm but it burns, stings, and it hurts so fucking much. It feels like a thousand needles and poison. You yell and hear screaming coming from the back. You can't even hear from how loud the thing screamed. Gunshots. You can only hear gunshots and two different guys. You get up and crawl away behind a building while they shoot it. The school is on fire, and the huge thing is dying. Where's Derek? Why does this hurt so much? Holy shit. You look over to see what's happening. You only see some guy with spiky blue hair coming towards you and some small kid with a yellow shirt. Your vision is blurring and you pass out.
