The next morning Corro woke up with frost and dew on his fur. He shook it off and stretched while he yawned. He looked around he noticed Knight wasn't in the den, he wasn't anywhere in sight!

Corro panicked. What should he do? Should he look around for him? What if someone confronts him?! What if someone attacks him?!

Anxiety flooded his mind, in a flurry of panic Corro got up and started walking back and forth in the den trying to figure out what to do. But being anxious and thinking at the same time doesn't always end up well.

A juvenile wolf had walked up to the entrance of the den and saw Corro pacing. She looked like a large fox, red fur with a while underbelly, black tipped ears and tail and black furred legs, her eyes also had patches of black around them.

"Umm excuse me?" She said in a soft kind voice

Corro jumped in surprise when he saw her, he got spooked. He stood still after seeing her and said nothing and only growled softly in defence

" Are you that White wolf Alpha told me about?" She asked, tilting her head

Corro stopped growling, stood up straight and nodded

"I'm not sure how many white wolves are in your pack though.. I mean he could have told you about any wolf-" He said but the she-wolf interrupted

" We don't have any wolves with white fur, I think it's a rare fur colour in Woodland Wolves. Plus we refer to each other  by our names in this pack so if it was another wolf the alpha would have told me their name. Your Corra correct?"

"Uhh.. it's CorrO acutally" He corrected her

"Okay well, my name's Firefly, but most wolves call me Fi for short. Knight told me to keep an eye on you. Aaand he also told me your from the deadlands and a pair of killer's son so you better not threaten me or there will be trouble for you" She glared at him for a moment "Come on then! Follow me. I'mma introduce you to my friends!"

"Uuuuh... okay?" Corro replied confused

Fi turned and started walking down the hill from the den towards the huge crowd of wolves in the open field in the huge forest that was their territory. Knight's pack was made of up to 50 wolves.

Corro followed Firefly into a small group of Juvenile wolves. They all growled intimidatingly at Corro when they saw him, at this point Knight had told his pack all that Corro had told him so everywolf was on edge about him. Fair enough. He was a strange wolf that came out of nowhere and is suddenly allowed to wander freely in the pack even though he is the son of killers, who wouldn't be defensive around him.

Fi introduced Corro to everyone and told him their names;

Firstly, Tonka. A female dark greyish green wolf with a few black stripes running along her back and down her tail, she was strongly built, the second largest wolf in the group. She had a two inch long scar going across her eye and over her muzzle

Cloud. A small, dog-like male wolf. With pale blonde fur with grey ears, muzzle, paws and tail with a few white spots on his body. He was small, his ears were folded like a dog and his tail was fluffy like a Pomeranian.

Hawk. A She wolf with a dark brown coat fusing into a lighter brown around her underbelly. Like Cloud her tail was curled like a Pomeranian but her ears were pointed up like normal. She had two black stripes across her eyes.

Eagle. A sunny yellow furred male wolf, medium sized with multiple spots and patches of different shades of orange and yellow. His paws were coloured like sand and he had a golden ring on his front right paw.

And finally Desert. The largest wolf in the group he was strongly built and very tall. is fur was coloured mostly dark brown but orangey brown on his underbelly. He growled the loudest and a marking on his face gave the appearance of him having a constant frown.

(FYI underbelly is basically the fur on the bottom of the wolf, the belly and under the neck and tail)

"So you're the son of Bloodryne and Braxton huh?" Hawk asked

Corro nodded, not being much of a talker

"I've heard that Bloodryne was apart of the Mountain Wolves before she was banished. And even when she was born she was a killer, killing her siblings while she was still a newborn, hence her name. And as an adult she killed everything living in her sight, even other wolves. No one knew why she had such a strong taste for blood. " Tonka said smirking at Corro in a insulting manner.

"And what about Braxton. Apparently after his pack was killed by a rival pack he went crazy. Killing alpha after alpha, taking control off up to 10 packs in his prime! He was stronger and larger than most wolves and even an entire pack of wolves couldn't bring him down. His determination for bloodshed was unmatched. His rein ended up destroying tens of hectares of land as he ordered his packs to kill any living creature that was in the area. They say his very breath could make a full grown tree wilt and die within hours." Desert continued

"It got so bad that the elder Wolf spirits of the stars became furious and banished both Bloodryne and Braxton to the Deadlands. Where  assume they met and ended bringing you into existence." Hawk finished.

Corro finally spoke up, his head held down looking at the ground, ears down "  ...i get it.. my parents were monsters and everyone expects me to be no different... I know they were horrible... But i don't want to be anything like them. I ran away because of how horrible they were.. "

They were silent for a moment, eyes all on Corro. Until Eagle put his paw on Corro's shoulder in sympathy

"Fair enough. Not everyone's lucky enough to have a loving and caring pack" He said looking directly at the others, that was meant for them to hear basically saying 'Hey you guys, leave him alone. He's had a hard life'

The others looked away ashamed. No one spoke for a moment. Corro looked at Eagle with a slight smile as if to say ' Thanks'

Eagle smiled back and whispered to him "Your welcome. I got your back bro" cheerfully.

Suddenly the loud sound of Knight's voice cut in and caught their attention.

"Alright you lot. It's your turn to go on the hunt" Knight said as he walked up to the group of young wolves. At the sight of him they all turned to him and nodded heads firmly and respectfully.

Corro scotched behind Eagle, feeling like he wasn't apart of the conversation, so he should just stay out. Knight saw him and asked "Will you be joining them, Corro?" tilting his head.

Eagle looked happy when he heard this, looking at Corro along with the others waiting for an answer. Although the others didn't seem as enthusiastic as Eagle.

Corro looked around anxious at the large amount of wolves staring at him.

He stuttered his words " u-uuh. u-u-u-uh-hhh... yes! I mean no! I mean yes! I mean... Ugh.. yeah sure i'll watch."

Tonka snickered, mocking Corro, it was obvious she didn't like Corro too much.

'Very Well. Okay get ready, you leave at midday" Knight ordered.
