[OLD] Wolves in the Stars

Chapter 7- The Gifted Pack

The Group of wolves walked through the last few kilometres of woodlands before they reached the mountains, their destination

"I don't think we've been properlly introduced to your little friend, Aura" Said the spotted wolf.

"Is this the Light wolf you were searching for?" Asked the Twin Tail wolf

"Well he's pretty heavy but yeah he's the one, Corro." She giggled (hehe sorry not sorry XD)

"Ugh Takita!! Aura's been learning puns off of you!!" annoyingly the Spotted wolf to the twin tail wolf, now known as Takita.

"Haha, no. The art of puns is not taught. Although Aura, 5 gold stars for that pun!" Takita laughed

"Thank you. And Silvia, lighten up" Aura said to the spotted wolf, named Silvia.

The black wolf didn't say anything. He walked with his head down looking at the ground. Occasionally looking back at Corro curiously.

"Yo Ombra keep will ya?" Takita said to the black wolf with a smile

(Quickly in the previous chapter I referred to the black wolf as the brown wolf by mistake)

Ombra said nothing and gave a sigh and fastened his pace

Corro did the same

Silvia spoke up and said to Corro "So light wolf. Where you from?"

" Ugh.. do I have to explain this to every single wolf I meet? I'm from Deadlands"

"Oh.." Silvia replied

They all were silent for a moment when Aura spoke up

" I'll be sure to let the pack know about it, Corro. So you don't have to explain."

"Wait you know about my past?" He said confused

"Yeah. Well I know the just of it."

"oh. So do you all have powers too?" Corro asked them all

"Yeah." Said Silvia

"You betcha" Takita said with a smile

Ombra again said nothing

"What are they?" Corro asked again

"You ask alot of questions" Silvia mentioned

That comment made Corro feel a little stupid.. SO he stoped talking

"I can show you ma skills later if you want?" Takita asked

Corro nodded.

And they continued walking.

When they finally exited the Woodlands and officially arrived at their location, Corro had the air wiped from his breath. Rows of caves within the base of the mountain stretching high into the sky with snow and ice at it's peak. There were multiple wolves of all different bright and unusual colours running, sitting or lying down everywhere

Takita walked in front and said "Aura we'll get you fixed up. Ombra you can look after the little wolf right?"

Ombra groaned

Corro looked shocked. Being stuck with a strange silent wolf didn't seem all to glamorous.

So Silvia and Takita left with Aura and Ombra sat down next to Corro.

"uhhh... So.. whaat powers do you have" Corro nervously asked Ombra

Ombra looked at him curiously, then tapped his paw on his shoulder and zapped him with static. Not enough to hurt though. It made Corro's fur stand on end for a few seconds

Ombra laughed. It seemed like he wasn't a scary wolf, but more just a friendly wolf that didn't talk.

"Oh so, lightning powers?" Corro asked for clarification

Ombra nodded.

"Can I ask.. can you talk?"

Ombra nodded again

"Why don't you?"

Ombra looked at him slightly annoyed

" I don't always need to. Please respect that" He finally said

A Red wolf with a white underbelly and black sock on her right front paw. (Not a literal Sock.) Walked up next to Ombra and Corro

She licked Ombra's face lovingly like a kiss and sat down beside him. Ombra smiled. Seemed like she was his mate

"Good to have you back Ombi" She giggled

"Good morning Rose" Ombra said to her lovingly nuzzling her

"Is this the new wolf?" Rose said looking at Corro with a smile

Corro smiled back

Ombra nodded

"Oh good. Has someone gone to get the Alphas yet?" She asked

Ombra shook his head no

"Oh well shall I get him them?" She asked again

"Actually we might go see them ourselves. But if you would let them know we arrived that would be great" Ombra Said

Rose nodded and turned away and started running, she lept into the air and in a few seconds and rose pink flash of light she transformed into a red robin and flew off towards the highest den in the mountain.

Corro had the most shocked and surprised expression on his face. He looked like he was about to pass out

Ombra looked at him and laughed.
