Calum yawns as he wakes up. he notices that it dark outside so he checks his time. two twenty am. he has been staying with Luke on his bed  for the past three almost four days. he feels bad but Luke says he doesn't mind and that he loves that Calum is here. Calum still can't help but to feel bad.

Calum gets off from the bed and stretches. he puts on his nike slides and walks to the door grabbing his phone and wallet on the way out. he has grey sweats and one of Luke's sweaters so it hangs loosely on him. he walks downstairs and grabs his keys from the table. he needed to clear his mind. he gets out of the apartment door and locks it. with a sigh he walks over to the elevator and enters it. he leans back closing his eyes until the elevator door opens. when it does he goes to the parking lot and finds his car. when he finds it he gets in it and puts on his seatbelt. he takes a deep breath before he turns on the car and leaves out of the parking structure.

he turns on the radio a bit hearing StarBoy By The Weeknd. he smiles knowing that Luke adores this songs for a weird reason. when the song is over another pop artist voice starts to take over. Calum didn't know where he was going at three in the morning. people are hardly on the streets which makes it easier for Calum to relax. he was half awake and can get into a car crash. he knew he wouldn't though since he is responsible enough to know when he needs to stop driving. the boy kept on driving until he had noticed he was on the way to the beach. he followed the signs that lead him to the beach. he had parked it in front of the sand. he gets off locking the door and sits on  the bench. he takes his sandals off feeling the sand. the waves are crashing down so calming. Calum could sleep and he would probably do so but he knew he should head back home.

he didn't though he stayed a bit longer. he walked over to the shop and bought two blankets to lay one out and for another to cover his body. he closed his eyes falling a sleep. no one can bother him here. this is his safe spot and he was happy. yet he felt something missing but he didn't want to find out what. he fell asleep without thinking twice.

Calum woke up due to the buzzing in his pants. the sun was fully out now and more people were at the beach. he stretched and got the phone out of his pocket. he turned it on seeing his notifications.

he sighs and puts his phone back in his pocket. he touches around his face to see if he got sunburnt which thankfully he didn't. he picked up all of his blankets carrying them to his car. he put them in the back and then went to the driver side. he turned on the car and got his phone calling Luke. the phone connected to the bluetooth in the car as Calum drives.

"oh my god! Calum why did you leave! i was so worried and-"

"im sorry Luke i went to the beach and actually fell asleep im coming home now" Calum says and Luke blushes through the phone.

"yeah please come home" Luke says loving how he calls it home already. "ill be here drive save love you"

"yeah love you too" Calum says with a smile as Luke hangs up. he drives to the place not really wanting to go. he parked in the parking structure and quickly jogged to the elevator.

when he enters he clicks the level waiting on the doors to open again. when it does he gets out and walks to the door. when he gets there he knocks since he doesn't have the keys to the apartment. the door opens and Calum is attacked with a hug. he knows its Luke by the strawberry shampoo. also detergent he uses in his clothes. Calum hugs him back pushing him into the apartment. Luke closes the door after the hug sighing.

"um Calum before you fully get in-"

"Is that Calum?" Ashton says walking into the living room. Calum turns to his friends and then at his fake boyfriend.

"why is Ashton here?" Calum asked Luke. the blond looks down thinking a way to explain it.

"i panicked when you left and didn't come back. you didn't answer my calls so i called Ashton to see if you were there and when i found out you weren't with him i panicked more. he came over to help" Luke says and Calum nods turning back to Ashton.

"well im here, im fine! you can leave" Calum says and Luke puts his hand in his shoulder.

"Calum... he has something to say to you and it's important because it involves us" Luke says and Calum began to worry. what does Ashton have to say now? he seemed pretty clear that he hated Luke with a passion.

"Calum there are drama channels now and news channels. they are big channels and conspiracy channels. there's a rumor and or conspiracy that you two are actually not dating. which is true but people might find out then you two will be hated on even more" Ashton says and Calum faces Luke.

"did you know what this?"

"i found out when he told me a few hours ago. i guess i haven't been paying attention to other things. Calum, there's a hashtag going around and its number four. hashtag cake is fake but our supporters have topped them being number two with hashtag cake is real" Luke says and Calum nods.

"what should we do?" Calum asked worried about people finding out.

"Luke and I talked about it and we think you should make a video of you talking about it and crying. you know make it dramatic" Ashton says.

"now you are supportive?"

"Calum i was just scared for you! i know Luke isn't horrible and i realized it when he was so worried about you today. the days without you or michael at the house is sad and i hate it! i miss my beautiful best friend" Ashton said and Calum smiles.

"i missed you too" Calum hugs Ashton tearing up. "okay lets make the video!"
