I'd spoke too soon.
It was about four in the morning when I heard a crash. I tried to wake Randy but to no avail.
"Mommy!" Oh God. I scrambled out of bed and rushed to my daughters bedroom. She wasn't there.
"Sweetie? Where are you?" I asked. I stumbled through my house looking for her. I felt something wrap around my mouth. I felt myself slip out of consciousness.

"Wake up." I recognised the voice. I opened my stinging eyes. It was him.
"S-" my mouth was taped shut. I screamed to try and get someones attention.
"Come on, don't scream or else I'll have to knock you out again." Stevens eyes locked onto my chest. "Look at you, you're an even bigger slut than when I married you." Tears streamed down my face as his body wrapped around mine. He untied me and made me stand up.
"You'll have no contact with your family and you wont let them know your alive. Do I make myself clear?" I nodded, still silenced by the duct tape. I'd never been so scared. I wished this was all just a dream. It wasn't a dream because I could feel his hands roaming my body. He dragged me to his bedroom. It was as if history was repeating itself.

My eyes jolted open. I felt the rising and falling of someone's chest. Perhaps it was a dream. I wrapped my arms around the male body.
"Randy? Thank god that was just a dream."
"I'm not Randy." My heart sank. None of it was a dream. I was still firmly in Stevens grasp. Did they think I was dead? I had no idea what to do. Randy was probably looking for me by now. He wouldn't find me, I didn't even know where I was, that was the scariest part. Lucy wouldn't know what was going on. She was only young. I would never have seen her grow up into a polite and sweet young lady. My bump was even more visible than the last time I saw him. Steven traced the bump.
"I bet you're wondering why I'm allowing you to stay pregnant. Well, I need a baby."
"I'm not your wife, Steven." I whispered. It was the only noise I could make.
"I know that, you stupid bitch. But, you were the only woman I could think of to give me what I'd deserved. I've lost a child once, I'm not loosing one again."
"Well I've lost two. Three now, because you will most likely never let me see Lucy again." My voice raised, is gained more confidence. I was proud of myself.
His hands wrapped around my neck. His hands tightened in a vice- like grip. Before I could pass out, he pressed his lips to mine and let go. I couldn't get any air. When he released me, i began violently coughing.
"Now, don't talk back to me again, you're my bitch now."
One thought ran through my mind, I'm going to get out of here, not just for me, but for my family.
