A month had passed since little Daniel was born. He was a giggling, smiling ball of sunshine. Our family was perfect.
"Hey honey, come here." I skipped into the kitchen. I'd already fed Daniel for the morning. He was in his little kangaroo pouch.
"What's up?" I asked.
"We've been invited to a wedding momma."
"It's a renewal of vows honey. They're different. They're already married."
"Whose is it?" I asked.
"Mike and Tami's." Tami had told me about her real wedding ten years ago and how she couldn't have the wedding she wanted because she couldn't afford it. They had the money to have the wedding they always wanted so they decided to renew their vows.  My phone buzzed. It was Tami.
"Hey there." I giggled.
"Hey, I was just wondering if you want to come out for coffee? Things have been crazy since you had the baby." I thought about it for a second.
"Sure I'd love to. Starbucks at noon?"
"Sounds good."

'I'm bringing Lucy along, I hope that's okay. She just really wants to see  you x'
'Of course it's fine! I need to ask her something anyway- T x'

"Hello there!" Tami chuckled as Lucy ran towards her engulfing her legs into a cuddle.
"I missed you. Daniel has been crying non-stop. It's not fair." She smiled as she sat down.  I went to order the coffee and the hot chocolates for the toddlers. Tami had brought Xavier with her. The two friends sat and talked in their own secret language.
"So, I've heard someone is getting their vows renewed." I giggled as I sipped on my cappuccino. A warm smile spread across her face.
"Yeah we're doing it right this time. I'm having bridesmaids and a maid of honour. I wonder who that will be." She smirked. I played along.
"Have you had any ideas?" I asked.
"Yeah, I was wondering if you wanted to be my maid of honour and if Lucy would be my flower girl."
"Yes!" Lucy chimed in. She began bobbing up and down out of excitement. They had a colour theme of royal blue and white. We went to a dress shop and we looked for dresses that fit that colour scheme. At first glance there weren't many. That was until we spotted the most perfect royal blue maid of honour dress.
"Thats The one!"
