"darling did you sign those papers?" Dad said, entering my office, "Yep, every single one of them" I smiled, then gave the documents to my dad, "I'm so proud of you baby girl" he said, giving me a warm smile, I hugged him and kissed his cheek. I didn't want to say that this wasn't the job I was looking for. I actually wanted to try by myself and get a job I'll love to do and do not get bored by the second I sit on this chair, but he's my dad, and I wouldn't like to see him heartbroken.
"Are you ready for today?" my secretary came in, "Ugh no, I want to kill myself already" too soon? "Count me in, I now have to sign those papers you signed, as your secretary" he rolled his eyes, "Revenge is sweet" I chuckled then I got ready for the interviews to begin.
I was in my office, I was still weirded out of what happened a few days ago at the restaurant. But today was the day that I held the interviews, couldn't be more excited ! Actually I don't want to do this but hey, it's work.
"Hello, what's your name" I said greeting the first one, "I'm Andrew Lincoln" he smiled, his voice didn't sound like if he was from here, "Nice to meet you Andrew, so, why would you like this job?"
After his interview ended then like 10 more men and women came in, some were great but some not so much, I sighed and stood up, filing the documents from each intern, then I heard a knock, "Sorry, if you're here for an interview it's too late" I said, locking the cabinet, "Oh, I'm sorry, I just wanted a bit of your time" then I stopped, my hands were in the counter, trying to think if the voice I heard was real... Turning around I see the smile I missed to see. Jeffrey.
