 Waking up I see that I'm alone on some pillows on the floor. I probably fell, but Spencer just knows that I am clumsy, even when I'm sleeping. I'm getting used to the fact that I'm waking up with the other side of the bed empty, it feels less warm and cozy.

 But as I walked towards the kitchen I see a sticky note on the fridge,

      "Good Morning bride to be. Hope you enjoyed your sleep, got called in for work :( but I want you to be ready at 6:00, look in the closet."

"In the closet?" I walked back to the room, opening the closet I see a dress hanging on a hanger, it was a floral black dress, he knew on how much I love flowers, it was only 9:40 am- OH MY GOD I HAVE TO GO TO WORK I tripped my way to the car and drove to my parents house to get some clothes then drive to work.

 Later onto the day...

 First I was late to work, Second I forgot that we had a meeting so now I was late to it as well.

 Opening the meeting room door I almost tripped my way in, important executives and managers were all staring at me, including my dad, Andrew and Jeffrey. "I'm so sorry, um my alarm clock had some problems waking up this morning" I nervously said as I walked to my seat, next to my dad, he just stared at me. "Gentlemen, this is my daughter, Carmen" he sighed, "we see, Mr. Reedus as co manager your daughter can't be late to work, most importantly to an important meeting" I felt the eyes of my father on me, with a furious face probably, I felt like 5 again, fuck, my eyes looked at Jeffrey, his arms rested on the table while his head was on top of them, he quietly giggled looking at me and I giggled as well.

 The meeting kept going on and we discussed about blah blah blah, they decided to keep me as co manager but now I got my first warning. I got out of the room, handshaked every executive as I walked embarrassed to my office,

"Carmen, can you come to my office please" dad said, I stopped, turning around I see my dad entering and closing his office door, I knocked his door and then opened it, "yes, dad?" 

 "close the door please" closing it I cursed under my breath, and sat down, "Carm, why were you late? Especially on a very important meeting." he said rising his voice a bit, "dad, I, it's because I slept late and-" 

 "listen, I know that you have a boyfriend but that can't stop you from coming to work"

 "I got engaged yesterday night" I blurted out, his eyes got wide, I raised my left hand showing my ring, he scoffed and stood up hugging me, he then broke it out and cupped my cheeks, "Oh my god" he said crying, then took me out of his office, 

 "Ladies and Gentlemen, I want to make an announcement" he said, I looked at him with wide eyes, tighting my hand around his telling him not to say nothing but his excitement ignored me, "my daughter is engaged!" everyone started clapping and hollering, he hugged me, I felt my cheeks hot, I tugged my lose hair behind my ear and then I felt something making me look, look at Jeffrey, he wasn't smiling, he just stared, then he tried to walk out of the crowd, I just stared at him while he walked out.
