The majority of the day i spent it closed in my office, many people came in to congratulate me for my engagement one by one, I looked over to my right to see the clock, 5:15 I suddendly stand up to grab my coat and leave the office, remembering that I need to get ready for whatever Spencer has ready for me, but suddenly I get a call, it's mom. "Hello Mom" I said as I entered the car, "hey sweetie, your dad told me that you got engaged, congratulations honey! but can you come home for a bit?" "thanks mom, alright i'll be there, bye, love you"
I placed my phone inside my bag, it was cold and almost dark outside, turning the car on I clean my windshield but wgile doing it I see something from the other side of the road, someone. I squint and try to focus on that person, it totally freaked me out, I immediately got out of the parking lot and drived home.

"Hey mom" I entered the house, she was on the sofa drinking coffee, "Hello Sweetie, how was your day" she said kissing my cheek and taking my coat, "very tiring and embarrassing" I said rolling my eyes, she gave me a confused face, "I'll explain it later" "well honey, your dad called me to say that you were engaged plus Spencer called me to tell you about the party" "what party?" I said, she then quickly covered her mouth, "oh god I ruined it, Spencer is planning a surprise engagement party tonight, but i wasn't supposed to tell you" "a party?" I exclaimed, it's now 5:37 and I'm not even ready! "here, he brought the dress, I'll do your hair when you get out of the shower" she smiled, I gave her a hug and runned to the bathroom.

"Oh honey, you're gorgeous, i just can't imagine how will you look at the wedding" mom cried, I wore the red dress and my hair down, "Oh god it's 6:24, I'm late (again)" "don't worry i texted spencer saying that you will be a little late to the party, oh and don't tell him that I told you about the party" she laughed, I nodded, then grabbing my bag i opened the door but she just stood there, "aren't you coming?" i said, "yeah, i just need to get ready" she smiled, i ran to her and hugged her again, this time she hugged me tight, little weird but okay, then i left. -
Entering the apartments I walk to the 3rd floor, where our house was, I moved my lips and shaked my arms, trying to act like if there was no party behind this door, it was locked. grabbing the keys i turned the door knob, then I opened the door,
"SURPRISE!!" I see everyone I know jumping at me, I then acted surprised, Spencer hugged me, there was a huge sign saying "congratulations!" but there was graduation hats and diplomas crossed out and badly drawed rings and flowers, "Um, since now we live together I'm trying to have everything on budget, it's my old graduation banner when I was 12" Spencer said, I giggled and kissed him, There was music, people sitting on sofas, drinking soft drinks and eating cookies, I looked at him "don't worry, this is a test, first we do a very cheap party then at the wedding we'll surprise them by having a huge ceremony" "You could've done better" an old lady walked pass us to get some cookies, "grandma" Spencer quietly whinned, then went to help her, I walked around greeting people, almost everyone here was a friend or family member of Spences, but I didn't see my mom yet, dad said that he was working in late, I then tried to get out of the crowd and walk into the bathroom, I got my phone out then speed dialing my mom, 3 times and still sends me to her voicemail, it's getting to the point that I'm really getting worried, so as open the door Jeffrey comes in,
Jeffrey's POV "Jeffrey?" she said, as I tripped my way in, then closed the door "Carmen, I really need to talk to you" "Jeffrey it's not the ti-" "Carmen something happene-" Spencer opened the door, then stared at us, "Spencer it's not what yo-" "you're mom is in the hospital" he said, then my heart dropped, "what" Carmen looked like her breath was punched out of her, "come on I'll drive you there" "Carmen" I reached out to grab her hand, but then Spencer blocked her, seeing her run towards the run "why don't you walk the guests out" he said then walked away. Everything happened so fast, but does Spencer now know about us?
