Carmen's POV
"I don't see why the ambulance had to come, I'm perfectly fine!" I said to Jeffrey, the medic was checking my heart rate and blood pressure "Carm, they almost shot you! atleast you're in shock or something" "I only have a small scratch" I said rolling my eyes, "See!" he exclaimed, "It was from the push you gave me!" I then realized that the rain went away, the sun was coming out.
"Oh my god, are you okay?" I heard a familiar voice, it was Spencer "yes I'm fine, I swear it's just a scratch"

"Ignore him" I said, "why are there so many police cars here?" "Babe, someone just tried to kill you, my team and I will do anything and try to find them" he said "are you sure it wasn't your ex?" "haha not funny, let's get you out of here and go home" he pulled me off the ambulance then I winced as he pulled pressure accidentally on my bruise,
"oh god, I'm sorry, look at this! and you say that you're fine, how did this happen?!" he analized the bruise, "oh, um Jeffrey pushed me off my chair, making me dodge the bullet" Spencer immediately looked up, he then looked at Jeffrey, "oh, well. Thanks Jeffrey for saving Carmen's life" he shaked Jeffrey's hand, but he just stood there, Then as Spencer was about to hold my hand JJ came in, "Spencer, we need you for this one" she then waved at me, I waved back, "Oh, I was abo-" "I can take her to the hospital, I was just on my way there to get a refill" Jeffrey said, Spencer placed his hand on his hip, it looked like he was thinking about it, "alright, and please take care" he sighed, "thank you, again" Spencer then faced Jeffrey and walked away with JJ. Then Jeffrey faced me "Let's go."
- Jeffrey's POV
"thank you for saving my life back there" "Oh yeah, no problem" "and refills, really" "What?! I really need to, in college I used to play football, and I got this bad concussion, like it was intense so ever since I gotta take these pills" I said, then the conversation got awkward when we didn't talk the whole way, "hey, are you okay?" I said, she ignored me for a while but then she turned her head towards me, "someone is trying to kill us" as soon as I heard her say that I stopped the car, we got here at the hospital. "what? why would you say that?" I said, getting nervous, "don't you see it? Hailey got murdered, my mom almost got murdered, then someone tried to kill me today, this is not okay, w-what if whoever is doing this is, Hunter?" I could see her chest rapidly moving, I then unbuckled my seatbelt moved her to face me, "Listen to me, Hunter is dead, he's gone, he wouldn't be able to do that Carmen" "THEN WHO?!" she screamed, then unbuckled herself and walked towards the entrance, then disappeared into the hospital.
