Inside the house, Rodrick and the boys are decorating as if there is a celebration party.
"It's kinda hard to have party if we don't even know what it's for." Said Rodrick
"What's appropriate? Cake? What if it's the anniversary of some tragedy? A black cake?" Says Greg
"Let's keep it as vague as possible." Directs Rodrick. "Like this, look." He shows a banner that says 'Today's the day.'
"do I draw a smiley face on the card or not?" Says Mannu
"Make it both!" Greg says
Manny Scribbles then shows Greg his drawing of a face that can be both happy or sad by rotating the paper. It was horrifying.
Everything in the room was beige.
"Good choice!" Says Rodrick "Beige, the Wednesday of colors. Like a visual muzak. As noncommittal as can be." Rodrick doesn't even know what those words mean, even though they fit perfectly with the context of the line.
"She's coming! " Manny says
"OKAY GREG. Get ready to sing the everything song." Rodrick says
Y/n walks in and gasps excitedly
The boys start singing

Rodrick's sweats nervously.
Y/n walks up to them with an angry face and manny gives her the drawing he made earlier.
"'With the deepest feeling on this momentous occasion.' Smooth." Y/n Tears the drawing into pieces furiously.
"We baked you a cake." Rodrick said.
"Really?!" Greg hands her a cake adorned with a shrugging gingerbread man.
She glares at Rodrick and drops the cake on the floor before storming away.
"Rodrick, she was looking you right in the eye. It's you who's forgotten something! What is it?" Greg says.
