"Okay, Can you please just tell us why today is so special so this family can get back to functioning in its usual dysfunctional way? I remember to shower today, smell" Rodrick shoves his armpit in her face.
"NO GET AWAY BABY HIPPO" she squawks and chases Rodrick out of the room. She is left with Greg
"*Sighs*It's November first. Our one year anniversary." She tells Greg, left in the room with her
He stares at the calendar stuck to the fridge and pulls it down. "Since when do swans have nipples?"
Rodrick is bawling in the living room while Greg is thinking of something.
Greg walks over to Rodrick.
"Rod,there's only one way to save the day -- with a totally over-the-top, disproportionate, overblown gesture."
"*Sniffles* You're right! I don't know what's so special about October eleventh, but I know it's an important day to y/n, so I'm going to make sure I never forget it again." Rodrick stands up
"How?"
Greg walks back into the kitchen and Studies the calendar again, then rotates his head.
"That's not a swan. It's an elephant."
"What are you talking about?" Says y/n
"Well, didn't you ever wonder why we went on summer vacation in January? The
calendar was upside down. Today is October eleventh, not November first."
Y/n gasps.
"I'm going to get a tattoo of October eleventh on my butt!" Rodrick says from the other room.
Greg springs over to him "Okay, a tattoo is a big commitment. You should probably think about it for --"
Y/n hears a horn outside and Rodrick drove away in his Löded Diper
"So, it turns out I was-" y/n mumbles the rest.
"What?" Many says.
"You know, I was- [Mumbles]"
"*Sighs* She thought today was their one year anniversary, but it isn't. She's trying to say she was wrong, but her mouth is pathologically incapable of saying those words." Explains Greg
"Well, I hope her legs are capable of making up for it." Says rowley
"What? Why?"
