"Hey, come here." I said as Rubi walked away from the table. "Vier, I'm fine. I just need to get myself together." "You not okay. Talk to me." I said as I grabbed her hand. "I'm not like that as you saw out there." "Listen ma, I'm not judging you for what you did. You was sticking up for ya family and it was cute." I said as she smiled lightly. "I just didn't wanna come out of character like that in front of you. But I wasn't gonna let someone disrespect my sister like that." She said as I nodded. "Duh, no one would let someone disrespect family like that." I said as she agreed. "Well, I'm glad you understand." She said as she smiled. "You welcome. Now, come on. Let's go." I said as she tugged me back. "No, not with this scratch on my nose." She said whining. "Ma, you look fine. Plus, its small and you still pretty so who cares?" "I do. I hate looking like this." She said as she pouted. "Aye, put that lip away. Don't be pouting out here." I said as she tucked her bottom lip away. "Go fix your face up. I'll wait for you." I said as she smiled lightly and kissed me. "It'll only take a minute." She said as I nodded. This girl is so adorable, I swear.
