Where can I even start with this?

First of all, I want it put out there that this is my all time favorite anime. Nothing tops this whatsoever.

Maybe that is why Edward is my favorite male anime character and Winry is my favorite female one?

This romance is handled so nicely. I have no complaints. Of course, my fangirl heart is crying out for more of this. We don't get to see too much of them. I mean, of course we get some cute moments (such as the moment where Edward tells her her hands were meant to give life, not killing)

Definitely didn't bawl like a baby and simultaneously fangirl at the same time during that moment. Nope, not at all.

Anyways, getting back to the point. The romance isn't the main topic of the series unlike many of the series featured in my reactions. However, they still remain my favorite couple.

We all knew it was coming. They hint at it and outright reveal that they have feelings for each in the series. It was only a matter of time. Something that I was very much looking forward to...and boy... they didn't disappoint.

The proposal scene has got to be the cutest thing I've ever seen. It's so very Edward and Winry. Him, proposing using something alchemy, of course. Her, irritated by him. When he started busting out laughing over the things she said I couldn't help but have my heart warmed ♥️
After all the shit they went through, it was the first time he ever really smiled like that. Made the moment even more perfect (Not to mention that Winry is wearing Edward's hoody 😭)

They end the series with the photo of Edward and Winry. Them recreating the photo once taken with Ed and Al's mother and father. Except this time, he had a huge smile on his face as he held up his child ♥️♥️
