Chapter 1 - Breaking News
BREAKING NEWS: A major accident has occurred on the highway tonight.
A series of cars have been smashed. Many injured. So far no deaths have been recorded.
It was as though I was trapped in time. I couldn't move. I was frozen.
I couldn't move, I wasn't moving no matter how hard I tried.
"We bring you to the horrific scene"
I watch as the new reporter continues to show the images of the accident on the highway.
"There have been a total of 20 injured people and unfortunately one death"
One dead.

It was the 2nd of April. I was watching the news on the accident that occurred that night.
I was at home, alone.
I don't live alone, I live with my best friend also known as my girlfriend, Ebony.
As I waited for Ebony to come home that night, I realised one thing.
She would be in that crash or be one of the cars who are stuck in traffic because of it.
My phone rang that night informing me that my girlfriend of 3 years, the one which I was hoping to propose to tomorrow, was the only person who died in the incident that occurred tonight.
