Chapter 6

Chapter 6 - Fight

Ebony and I, we would have fights about the silliest things. We would argue over who makes the bed, who would wash up, even, who takes out the trash.

We made a chore list, it lasted about a week not even. But in the end one of us would say something and we would both end up laughing and usually kissing.

~Flashback ~

Ebony and I had been dating for now about 7 months.

I was currently at my house and waiting for Ebony to arrive home. She went out with a bunch of her friends and I knew she was going to be drunk or at least tipsy when she gets home and I wanted to wait for her.

She told me that she wouldn't e later than 2am but I knew ebony and she never stayed out past 12.

Right now it was 11:54pm.

Ebony would be home at any moment.

I have been watching this show for the past hour, I'm not even sure what show it is, I think it's some commercial that is selling a product which usually doesn't work as well as it shows on the tv.

I look at the time and its 12:03 am

Ebony should be home at any moment.

Whenever ebony is drunk she does the funniest things.

I remember one time I went out with her to a club she was dancing around everyone, she wasn't dancing normal, she was dancing like a chicken.

The next morning when I told her what she did, she was so embarrassed. She thought I was joking and wouldn't believe me until I showed her a video of her acting like a chicken.

It was the funniest thing.

I look at the time as its now almost 1 am. She must be staying later.

Time passes by and Ebony eventually staggers into the house at 3:24am.

"Where have you been?" I yell

"Hey Harry" she slurs

"I have been worried"

"Aww little cutie you are" she says pinching me cheeks

I know there is no point in trying to argue so I help her into bed. The next morning or well afternoon when ebony wakes up I hand her some pain killers and water.

"We need to talk" I say I her

"I need sleep" she says

"Why did you stay out so late?"

"Gosh Harry I was having a good time why would I want to leave?"

"To see me?" I say

"No Harry the world does not revolve around you" she yells at me

"I thought something happened" I yell

"I'm not a child, I can do what I want"

"Obviously you are, you still live with your parents"

"Just because mine still want me and yours don't, doesn't mean you can act like a dick Harry"

"At least I don't have to suck up to them just to stay at home"

"I don't suck up to them" she says trying to defend herself.

"Why don't you go do the dishes or something" she says

Before so could reply she cuts me off

"Wait, that's right, you don't do anything around the house" she says laughing.

~Flashback over ~

This fight ended with Ebony not talking to me until the end of the day. She slept most of the day anyway.

While she was sleeping I surprised her by cleaning the whole house and doing a bunch of other chores.

I even made her favourite dinner, when she woke up she was the happiest I have probably seen her.

Ebony, i wish I could see that smile again. I'm sorry for all the fights we had. I wish I could see you just one more time.

Ebony, I miss you...
