Monday has become my most hated day of the week. On Mondays, I have two periods worth of Arithmetic class. Not just one, two! Why do we need to have two periods of Arithmetic class? Why can't we just have one? Also, why does it have to be the first two periods? Why can't it be later in the day?
What made the class even more unbearable besides it being so early in the day, was the fact that the elderly professor who taught the class, Professor Paul Xu, was absolutely boring. He spoke in such a monotonous tone of voice, a tone which could lull even the most aggressive chimaera or basilisk to sleep. I would have fallen asleep during class if it weren't for Mia and Benjamin who kept me awake throughout the two periods. I'm so thankful to have made friends like Benjamin and Mia.
