The Missing Case of Dean Norman

Scene Six

Scene changes to Dean's bedroom, fade in. Dean slowly enters his bedroom and takes off his school uniform and throws them onto the floor, he changes into more comfortable clothing. He stares at the bed, lost and confused. He looks at the clock that's hanging above his bed, it says 5:00pm, he slowly enters his bed and closes his eyes. Slowly, after a while, a quiet high frequency sound can be heard gaining volume exponentially, Dean starts twisting and turning in bed, whimpering and sweating. As the frequency becomes louder and louder, he starts twisting and turning even more to the point that he wakes up in a sudden. Everything seems normal, a sound of an empty void can be heard, he looks around. Without noticing, the clock behind him is spinning rigorously, as he looks around, he turns slowly and sees a black figure watching him. He starts breathing heavily

Dean: (Shouting) Mummy? Mummy! MUMMY!

Sudden blackout, fade in, everything back to normal. Without noticing, the clock behind him is back to normal, this time it's 7:00pm. Sandra is kneeling beside him

Sandra: What is it sweetheart?

Dean jumps out of bed

Sandra: You had it again didn't you?

Dean nods

Sandra: Okay, come downstairs for dinner and I'll give you some sleep medicine to help you sleep soundly
