Sound effect of a school bell rings and the scene changes to the Nethercott Passage Secondary School where we see students walking to class, Dean enters not talking to anyone and walking to his locker ignoring everyone completely. Three other boys watch him enter and walk towards him whilst he opens his locker

Boy 1: Hey Dicky Dean

Dean closes his eyes and sighs

Dean: What do you three want?

Boy 2: Oh we just wanted to see how sleepy head here is doing

Dean: I'm not a sleepy head

Boy 3: Really? So where do you wonder off to during class, so much so that all of us can mess around with your stuff without you noticing

Dean: None of your business

Boy 1: Oooh, he must be thinking of that girl he fancies in class

Dean: No I don't!

Boy 2: Aw what's the matter lover boy?

Boy 3: Jealous that she isn't yours?

Dean: I said leave me alone

As he is about to leave, the three boys push him onto the lockers

Boy 1: But we haven't finished our little chat yet, lover boy

Boy 2 & 3: Yeah

Dean: Let go of me!

Boy 1: Make me!

Dean knees Boy 1 in the crotch, Boy 1 whimpers, Dean runs but all three boys run towards him and tackle him to the ground. Boy 1 starts punching him

Boy 1: Never... knee... me... in... the... crotch, dickhead!

All the students in the hallway look at Dean and the three boys fighting, they start chanting 'Fight, fight, fight!', the headmaster, Mr. Saviour notices the commotion and runs towards them

Mr. Saviour: Okay, okay, knock it off!

He grabs the three boys

Mr. Saviour: You three have detention for the next three days!

Boy 2: But-

Mr Saviour: No excuses, now everyone to class!

Everyone disperses, Mr. Saviour turns towards Dean and offers him a helping hand off the floor

Mr. Savour: Need a hand?

Dean looks at him in disgust

Dean: No thank you, I don't need your help

Mr. Saviour looks at him

Mr. Saviour: Oh okay

Dean stands up and brushes the dirt and dust from the floor off him, awkward silence. Mr. Saviour tries to strike a conversation with Dean

Mr. Saviour: So what happened here?

Dean: I got bullied as usual

Mr. Saviour: Were they bullying because of-

Dean: Yes

Mr. Saviour: Oh... have you tried talking to someone about it, maybe a guidance teacher?

Dean: I don't need guidance; I just need people to leave me alone!

Mr. Saviour: But this issue needs to be solved Dean, otherwise you will remain the way you are or worse

Dean: I don't need your help and I don't want my issue solved, it's my only safe haven from this hellhole

Dean walks off to class leaving Mr. Saviour alone in the hallway

Mr. Saviour: See you tonight then!
