Scene changes, we are in Arthur's office, Arthur is busy typing away on his typewriter. He stands up and checks his long line of books and takes out a book titled; "The Laws of the United Kingdom"

Arthur: According to the mental health act of the United Kingdom, the law states that a person can be admitted, detained and treated in hospital for a mental disorder without their consent and a person under 18, which Dean was, who has a mental disorder, which he had, and needs the protection of the Act can be detained and treated under it. There is no lower age limit on the powers of the Act and there are no specific provisions that specifically deal with young people. This act was subject of controversy in the UK quite a few years ago, but the act hasn't changed and nothing has been done. It's just as if people complained for a few months then it died down. Maybe Dean was dismayed with what his mother was considering and he left a few days after? But that's just too obvious... there's still something missing...
