I went to school and did all of my homework. After I finished I took a shower and found the secret spot where I hid my money. I took it out and counted it all, still the same amount.

I am proud that I did this for Shane. He will love it.

The wedding is only a month and 8 days away. I am so excited!

Shane and Joey are getting married! This makes me so happy. The only thing that is wrong though would be, I will be here home alone while they go on their honeymoon. I guess its not a problem. I use to always be alone.

I guess it cant be that bad. My thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door.

Me: Come in!

Joey crept around the door.

Joey: Hey. As you know, our wedding day is coming up soon.. And I just want to make sure you aren’t worried about being alone during the honeymoon.

Me: Well I kind of am. Its fine though.

Joey: Don’t be. We are bringing you with us. And were going to Hawaii.

Me: Really? No you should go alone!

Joey: We want to bring you.

Me: What? No you cant! Its you and Shane time. I cant go!

Joey: We already bought the ticket!!

Joey yelled as he left.

I can’t go with them! I will ruin everything! Great!

*The next day*

I’m at school in my class sitting next to Alyssa when my teacher calls on me to come up and read my essay on the internet.

I couldn’t really hear her because everyone was talking so loud. I got up and walked to the front of the class.

Everyone went dead silent and started paying attention.

Me: I.. I believe that the internet is good for kids, students and adults because it helps them. It helps them in ways that nobody could ever imagine. The internet isn’t only used for bad. It is used for good as well. You never know what will happen on it, who you will meet, what you will do. One thing is for sure though, people who use the internet have to power to do amazing things. The internet can show you who you really are. People might hack the internet, and use the it for bad but that doesn’t mean that the internet is bad. It helps people communicate. It helps people discover. And it helps people find out who they really are and what they can do.

The class was clapping like crazy, some students even had tears in their eyes.

Teacher: Thank you for that well written essay Ms. Gomez.

I nodded at her and sat back down in my seat, next to Alyssa.

Alyssa: That was amazing! That was based on your dads, right?

How did she know? Well I guess everyone knew. It was obvious.

Me: Yeah, it was.

We listened to a bunch of other essays and at the end of class the teacher picked the best one.

Teacher: There were a lot of essays to choose from. They were all wonderful. But I think its pretty clear who’s was the best. Hannah?

I stood up, too shocked to do anything else. And I walked over to her. She handed me a paper with my grade on it and gave me a hug.

I walked out of class and went to my next class.

Lunch came soon after.

I got my lunch and sat down in my normal seat and to my surprise, I was getting hugs and high fives from a lot of people. Apparently the teacher shared my essay with all her classes, and a lot of people loved it.

Then he whole lunch room started clapping and chanting “Hannah, Hannah!, HANNAH!”

I didn’t know what to do so I just smiled and ate my food.

The end of the day came shortly.

I got my stuff and walked up the street to where Shane and Joey normally pick me up but they weren’t there. I guess they are busy. Oh well I will just walk.

I walked on the sidewalk until I got home. I opened the door and nobody was there. I checked the bathroom, living room, closets, Shane and Joeys room, and the kitchen. No one.

I decided to just lay on my bed until they got home. I waited for hours and still nothing.

Then I heard the door open. But no talking. No foot steps. But I heard tiny claws running across the wood floors. I got scared and grabbed my bat that I keen next to me bed at all times, and I walked downstairs.

I walked into the kitchen and didn’t find anything. I walked into the living room and I found a little dog. But how did he get in here. I don’t know what breed he was but he was tiny and very fluffy.

I started to pet him and he ran away. I looked up and the door was wide open. I heard loud footsteps upstairs and I walked up there, getting ready to swing my bat.
