I would just like to apologize for not updating in a awhile... I have been more busy than ever in my life at the moment and it has been a struggle trying to get everything done! I won't be able to update and frequently as I used to for awhile but I will try to at least publish two chapters a week....I am really sorry.  Please forgive me!!! Lucy's Pov

Last night I had a dream.
I dreamt that Natsu kissed me, and it felt so real. The feeling of his lips against mine in the dream felt so right.  They connected together like puzzle pieces as if they were made for each other. Sweet, gentle, and full of love.... If only it were real.......

I opened my eyes as the morning birds sang. Small rays of light made their way through the openings of the curtains and illuminated the room while waking me up in the process.
I turned my head slowly to the left and then I remembered where I was.
I was in Natsu's room!
But... Where is He?
Natsu wasn't anywhere to be seen.  The covers were draped over me and his side of the bed was completely empty. 

I decided to get out of bed and I walked down into the kitchen to make breakfast. As I walked down the stairs and met with the lounge room I found Natsu lying asleep on the couch.
Why was he on the couch!?
Did I do something to annoy him!?
In hope I didn't snore!

As I looked at Natsu as he slept I couldn't help but notice how cold it was this morning... And he didn't even have a blanket... He must be freezing!

I quickly grabbed a blanket that was in a nearby closet and walked back over to Natsu and placed the blanket over his body, and as I did he started to stir and his face scrunched up in the process. It was so cute. I couldn't help but giggle and start thinking about my dream last night......
Subconsciously I brought my hand up to my lips and started to caress them.
They were rough and cracked, they felt as if they were rusted.
But Natsu's lips... They looked so soft....

"L-lucy?" Natsu yawned. I must have woken him up....

"N-Natsu!" I exclaimed.

"Did you put this blanket on me?" He asked.

"Y-yes, you looked cold... By the way w-why were you sleeping on the couch?" I asked hesitantly.

Natsu's eyes widened as he looked at me then he turned away swiftly.

"I uh- It's just that... I had to..." He told me.

He had to? What does he mean he had to?
I looked at Natsu with a perplexed look until his expression turned serious.

"Lucy..... You need to stop sleeping in my bed."

"What? Why? Do I snore!? Do I take all the blankets? Do I move around too much!?" I asked frantically.

"Lucy, don't ask any more questions.." He said sternly.

"Have I don't something wrong?" I muttered. The tone in his voice was scaring me. I wasn't sure why but I had a bad feeling.

Natsu looked up from the ground and stared directly into my eyes.

"Lucy, Just- Stay away from me for awhile..."

What!?

What does he mean ' stay away for awhile? '

I felt my heart drop at his words.  I knew my hands started to shake so I quickly hid them behind my back. Hot tears started to fill my eyes and I knew that I couldn't let Natsu see them.
I wanted to run but I know I can't.
Before I assume anything I need to ask why.
