Something Special[a henry danger fanfic]

chapter 7

"Cam,just remember. Don't rush it. We have all the time today to figure out how to control your power."henry assured me.

"Im scared. What if it isn't a power?what is it was a curse?"i asked worriedly. It was already afternoon and we still haven't lifted up a single thing with my mind.

"What if that headache was dangerous?what if I accidentally kill somebody with it?"i kept ranting about it.

"Well I'm Kid danger,I'm used to danger."he winked and chuckled.

I just laughed it off and focused on the glass. I tried to focus really hard on it.

"Try getting angry at the glass."henry joked.

"Ha ha."i sarcastically said and went back into what I was doing.

I focused on the glass to levitate.

C'mon cam. Its not that hard.

"This is just a waste of time!"I yelled getting annoyed but still focusing my eyes on the glass.

"Just focus!"henry said with the same annoyed tone.

I groaned quietly.

"I need a cookie."i said dropping my hand to the side and went to go get a cookie.

I stuffed the cookie inside my mouth and went back to my place.

"Focus."i heard henry instructed.

"Okay."but it came out muffled because of the cookies i was still chewing.

This time I held my hand out and closed my  eyes. I imagined I was holding the glass in my hand near the sink.

"Oh wow."i heard henry gasp.

I opened my eyes and heard glass shatter.

"My mom definetley heard that."henry laughed.

"But congrats,cam. You did it."henry added. I smiled at him and grabbed a broom and a dustpan,i swept the glass from the floor and threw it outside on the dumpster.

"Wanna head over to junk 'n' stuff and show ray?"henry asked.

"No."i replied simply. He looked at me weirdly and asked why.

"Because electricity shot out my fingers before and I still don't know how to control them."i explained. Wait. My mom was on board,Meaning she was already home.

"Hey hen,im gonna go home now."I said walking out to the porch.

"Can me and char come and crash at your place?"henry asked.

"Yeah....why?"i asked

"We have homework today and we kind of missed classes."he explained.

I just nodded and went out with him following me.

We met charlotte on the way.

"Dudeeee."i greeted her.....which i don't get why dude is now a greeting to me.

"You guys missed a lot."charlotte said joining us walk.

"Yeah we know."henry answered for me.

"Well how's cam's power?"charlotte asked.

"She controlled the telekenesis a bit,but we're still working on the electricity stuff."i said beating henry to it.

"Oh cool."we reached my house and they made their way to the couch.

I went to the kitchen and found my mom making dinner.

"Hey sweetie."she said wiping her hands and kissing my cheek.

"Hen and char are here. I think they'll be sleeping over too."I said.

"Well that's great."she said.

"Im cooking mac 'n' cheese. I know charlotte will love that."my mom said as i walked in to the living room.

"You gonna be sleeping here,right?"i asked.

They both nodded their heads and continued to watch the television.

After awhile we all did our homework.

Charlotte and henry went home to get their clothes for tonight.

I changed into my pyjamas while they were out.

After a game of truth or dare we all flopped in my bed.

"We're all sleeping on the floor."I said

"But you should sleep at the bed."henry argued. Here we go again.

"No. We all sleep on the floor so it's all fair for the three of us."i argued back.

"Henry's the only boy."charlotte teased him. Henry made a sour face.

"So?"he asked annoyed.

"HENRY'S GAYYYY!!"i screamed and laughed.

"I am not."he said.

"Then go invite jasp right now."i said

"But he'll bring his bucket collection."henry groaned.

"Just invite him."charlotte insisted.

"Okay fine."he took out his phone and sent a quick text to jasper.

Jasper came a few minutes later. Now we were all laying on the floor.

"Another round of pillow fight?"jasper asked. We just finished playing and now we are exhausted.

Nobody answered i noticed henry and charlotte already asleep,leaving me and jasper awake.

"Sleep."i muttered an slept.
