Face-To-Face Confrontation (=□=*)

She was getting so very close to the answer now, Chloe could just feel it in her bones, everytime the two would come in to visit her, each one after the other was becoming easier than the last, they were finally starting to put some trust in her.

The blonde woke up with a long, deep yawn and sleepily shook her husband's body, "honey, dear, it's morning" the other adult attempted to sit up, but due to his lack of awareness, he merely ended up face planting into the floor below.

"Owww, goddamn frigging floor" the man growled, he hated how drowsy the mornings made him, he was much more prone to ram himself into a wall or table then, "I'm gonna go make coffee" the woman groggily sighed.

Pulling on her glasses, she hurriedly shuffled into the kitchen and began cooking breakfast in a rush, once the coffee was about ready to be poured into the pair of mugs, she caught the sound of something heavy collapsing down the stairs and shook her head with a small smile, that man.

"Rocinante, you don't have to come stumbling down the stairs to get my attention you know" the other blonde just limped in and gave her a kicked puppy look before hugging her from behind, "if I didn't, then you'd already be out the door with a piece of toast sticking out of your mouth like in some kind of perverted anime" he childishly mummered.

She only shook her head before slapping his hand with a spatula to keep him from stealing some unfinished bacon that was still on the frying pan, "well I have to get out soon to go catch my appointment with the twins"

Rocinante scowled at the mention of those two, Chloe obviously deducted the reason was because he once said he hated kids, "those brats? Man Chloe, ever since they came up, you started becoming obsessed with them, they're just some creepy twins with clingy issues, so what?"

The therapist frowned and gave him another smack with the utensil, "Roci, can't you tell, there's something obviously bothering them or making them feel like the other is threatened in some way, I know children and their mindsets, why else would they cling onto one another in fear instead of going to their parent for protection? There is something threatening them that they feel they can't share"

She in fact did some tests, and as it turned out, the two preferred to cling onto one another much more than hiding behind their father or even their mother at the sign of danger.

The man sighed and stared down at her with his big brown eyes, "there are some things you can't change Clo"

The woman remained silent until she grabbed a handful of bacon and made a run for the door, "I WILL HELP THOSE TWO!! JUST WAIT, YOU'LL SEE!! I WON'T REST UNTIL THOSE ADORABLE TWINS FINALLY SPILL THE BEANSSSS!!!!!"

Some people want the answer to something so bad, that when they finally get it, they just can't wait to put the supposed solution to the test without a moment of hesitation, and that became her downfall.

"Our...our teacher said so" (Y/N) shakily mumbled, Chloe paused in her note taking and stared at the small child in awe, this was different, Law nodded with her and protectively leaned his head onto her's with a bone crushing hug as tears formed in his eyes, "(Y-Y/N) here has always been here for m-me, s-she's my best friend in the whole wide world and we l-love each other v-very much, b-but miss Monet said that o-our close relationship i-isn't r-right and that d-daddy will call b-bad people to c-come and separate u-us if he finds o-out how close w-we are, and t-that we can't t-trust anyone but ourselves or we could-could possibly d-d-die"

Chloe almost dropped her pen in shock, who in their right mind would say something like that to such young children!? No, scratch that, who would allow someone like that to be around children!?

"That's nonsense! Now, kids, your dad loves you two so much! He would never separate you kids! And plus, when a parent's kid is endangered, it's a known fact that they become super powered like Superman and knock out all the bad guys!"

Both the twins stared at her in awe through all of their tears and sniffled, "r-really?" They sniffled.

The blonde happily nodded her head and opened the door, letting the two excitedly hop down from their spots, but before they left, the two suprised her with a tight and warm hug, "thank you Ms Chloe-niisan!"

The therapist stared up at the elementary school with a deep scowl, this was the place where Law and (Y/N) went to school, and where the bitch that did that to them in the first place hid.

With an angery huff she marched right into the building and directed herself to where she suspected the twin's class to be, once she got to the door, Chloe cracked her knuckles and almost punched the door off it's hinges.

That's when the woman at the teacher's desk almost jumped and immediately gave her the imitation of a cheerful smile in responce to cover up her obvious annoyance, "oh, are you a parent miss? Well I'm sorry but-" Chloe had none of that and slammed her hands onto her desk to shut the green haired woman up.

"WHO. THE. FUCK. ARE YOU!? I'M A THERAPIST HIRED BY THE TRAFALGAR FAMILY, AND AFTER DOING SOME WORK WITH THE TWINS, IT'S CLEAR THAT SOMEONE LIKE YOU SHOULD NOT BE AROUND KIDS, WHAT ON EARTH WERE YOU THINKING!? TELLING THEM THINGS LIKE THAT!? AND YEAH BITCH DON'T EVEN DENY ANYTHING 'CAUSE I KNOW!" Monet was left completely speechless.

Before either woman could further the conversation, an obnoxious voice sounded from the busted door, "nee, nee, what's going on over here Monet-chan?"

Chloe turned to glare in the direction of the voice and had to keep herself from scowling at the sheer disgusting looks of the blobish man before her, "v-vice principal Trébol" she almost fearfully quivered.

With a puff of anger, Chloe marched up to the flabbergasted man and glared at him with the intensity of a thousand suns, "this woman here is verbally abusing the children here, I. demand. punishment."

And with that, Chloe harshly pushed the man aside and walked out like a boss....but soon she was going to learn that she should have kept her mouth shut, "go get the principal" someone in the shadows hissed.
