Background-
At a young age Rachel lost her father during a terrorist attack at a landmark they were visiting. Then at the age of 7 she lost her mother from a home invasion as well as her older brother Carlos. Rachel took herself and her newly born sister to the streets to try and flee away from danger. It really put them in more. Rachel battled to sustain both jersey and her little sisters lives while also battling street gangs, crooks, and other sorts of horrid people. Soon though, she and her little sister were split apart and Rachel was taken by a terrorist group and forced to do as told and asked. They had trained her harhsly day after day, and at some point they saw she had supreme hacking skills and she had more of a use other then cannon fire, sex doll, and maid. They kept her alive for the sole purpose of hacking into whatever they wanted. At 12 Rachel finally manged to escape by turning the tables on the group and hacked themselves. She also sent signals and messages to the Watchtower for help which the help arrived to late. Rachel already ran off. Rachel didn't think twice of anything of what would happen or were she would live, she went straight to the orphanage she assumed her sister would still be at. But her sister had ran away due to being bullied, being treated badly/unfairly, and the poor/unsafe conditions of the orphanage it's self. Rachel remained low and made no signs of her survival, while also on the look out for her sister. Only few knew she was alive and fewer assumed she was still alive. She boreded a plane a Japan where she would hope to rebuild her life again. It stayed that way for several mounths. But during those several mounths she was hacking away into whatever she pleased. The league had cought her hacking into global systems and including there own. They went to go take her in but hadn't relized this was a child, even more so the child that had taken down one of the biggest terrorist groups. They also didn't expect for someone with skills like her to be living in a old, broken down supermarket. They decided to take her in, not to jail though, but as one of the newest arising heros. It was chosen that Black Lightning would be her mentor and she'd be his protégé
