She has a spark in her eyes,
an infinite fire that you can't blow out,
or extinguish
I never saw it then, but I see it
now.
You could hurt her,
but oh, you couldn't break her
And I know, because I saw others try
Life was never kind to her.
Family broken,
brothers and sisters going down a
dark dark road.
But not her, not the girl with the fire
It burned brighter, and I'll never regret the day
I put myself in front of her,
became her friend.
Shared my fair amount of harsh words,
from the other girls.
You could hurt us
But you couldn't break us,
And I know, because I saw others try.
The girl with the infinite fire.
She's out there fighting.
So many surgeries,
so much pain.
She got a spark in her eyes,
and a strength you can't imagine.
A/N: Dedicated to...well...someone who is very strong.
Another poem I'll be editing is, but this is it pretty much.
