Chapter 25

The sun was bright, making me wake up. I looked to my side, finding Shawn starring at me.

"What?" I said sheepishly. He laughed, right then I noticed he didn't have a shirt on.

Nash and Jenna weren't here.

"Where's Nash and Jenna?" Shawn happy expression turned mad.

"They're down stairs... getting breakfast." I relaxed.

"Thank you for helping me last night. It's just been hard sleeping with out you. Knowing that some other boy could be holding you... like I want to." The last words came out in a whisper.

"What was your dream about?" The subject was making me nervous.

"Well... I remember some parts. We were together and then you left me. I went to fund you then you were getting abused by some guy. I texted to stop him, but he kept on shooting me with his gun... that's whybi screamed so much, from pain."

I knew he wasn't just talking about the gun shots, but me not being there with him.

We got some clothes on, planning to go out for breakfast.

As we arrived down stairs, Nash stopped us. Then Jenna pulled me aside.

"We need to stop this fighting. Even though it is awesome 2 guys are fighting over you, they need to stop hurting each other... especially this morning."

"What?" I was confused.

"Nash pulled Shawn out of the bed. He was snuggled up against you so he got mad. I texted to stop him, but he was too strong. Next this you know they were fist fighting, again. Shawn didn't tell you?" I felt left out at the moment.

"No he didn't." It came out like a whisper.

Shawn walked over to me grabbing my arm. I pulled away, but he didn't let go. He just dragged me to his car.

We sat down as he started up the engine.

It has been 10 minutes if uncomfortable silence. Finally I spoke up.

"Why didn't you tell about the fight this morning?" He narrowed his eyes on the road.

"I didn't want to worry you?" It came out more like a question.

"So you didn't want that to ruin our moment. You want me back, but I'm not letting you in. So now I'm just gonna have to do this..." We were at a red light so I got out if the car and started to walk down the sidewalk.

Of course Shawn parked in the side, running after me.

"Wait! Please give one more chance I swear, I will promise to make this time special. Nothing will be broken again." He broke down in tears.

"Why should I? Every time I let you in, you just messed it and made me a mess. Then once I found someone you took them away." After was filling me, but he was already hurt enough so I walked away.

He wasn't giving was he. He just followed me begging for my forgiveness. But this wasn't going to get me that easily.

"You gonna have to try much harder than that to get me back." He spun me around, smashing his lips onto mine.

I pulled away, wanting more still. He got on one knee out of now where.

"Then let me try harder like this... Kristen I know we are young, but you are my true love. This our eyes met, you became the priority of my life. Why I wake up every morning just to see you. See that amazing smile and hair of yours. So please let me do this... will- uh, will you marry me?"

The ring was a beautiful set of diamonds and a center piece. Tears were already forming in my eyes.

"I don't know, Shawn I'm only 17.-"

"Just please say yes? I love you so much, maybe too much."

My head slowly nodded, not knowing what I was doing.

He slid the ring on my finger and imediantly kissed me.

This was the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me.

Shawn kissed my head, humming a tune of an Ed Sheeran song. We slow dancer for a few minutes before driving to the breakfast place.
