Chap. 3

Alexa's POV

Then my mom came in my room without knocking with a cordless phone Announcing : "Alexa Riley is on the phone for you."

"Are you going to take the call or not? I cant have him waiting all day." My mother pressed me. I had so many things to do and the poor guy was left hanging.

"Yes I .. yeah." My mom Sybil handed me the phone I took the cordless phone and answered. "H-Hello?"

"Hi Honeybee" Riley greeted me cheerfully. "I didn't wake you didn't I? I know your not a morning person."

I took a deep breath and greeted him "H-Hi Riley no Vanessa woke me up first."

"Then I'm safe I need to go to the flea market today. I wanted you to come with me to help me pick a suit for your moms party." He explained.

I felt like fainting this isn't a date was it?

"Honeybee are you still there?" He asked because I was silent for couple minutes.

"Yes I'm here I'm just tired."

He asked. "So are you coming? I heard that you needed a dress I could help and we could talk." Talk about what? I had a crush on him. I wanted Vanessa to come with us to make it less awkward.

"Yeah I will go can Vanessa come?"

"Yeah she could I'm going to pick you up on a hour." I smiled this is to be great.

I wore black skinny jeans with a gray t-shirt and I started doing my makeup.

"Are you sure this isn't some kind of date?" Vanessa asked absentmindedly when went I to get my phone out of the bathroom because when I take my showers I likes to listen to music. "Its just supposed to be you two."

"No its not a date."

"Are you sure because he is a hot guy who wants to spend his Sunday with you." Vanessa pointed out with a grin.

"He alway's​ liked to spend time with me before when I was younger."

"Ask yourself why." Vanessa said being annoying.

"I was a child!" I gulped

Vanessa rolled her eyes at me then she went downstairs.

Meanwhile after I got ready I came downstairs and saw Riley downstairs. "Hi Riley." I greeted him.

"Hi Honeybee." And he greeted cheerfully and smiled.

My mom gave us muffins and told all of us to have good day. We headed out.

I saw Vanessa wear a black dress with boots. "Why did you wear your dress today? You should wear something casual we are not going to the fair."

"OMG you think that I want to flirt with him." Vanessa exclaimed pointing at Riley he was taking stuff out of his truck. I blushed hoping he didn't hear. "Are you jealous Alexa?" Vanessa asked.

My eyes bulged out. "Of course not!"

Riley open the doors for us like a gentleman. I sat in Passenger seat and Vanessa sat in the backseat.

The car filled with silence. "Why don't you put a CD from the dashboard?" Riley proposed.

I turned to him and nodded and was surprised that most of his collection was my taste well after all, Riley was who taught me his taste in music passing me his passion genres and groups.

I remembered our bond when I was five Riley and my brother went though a gaming addiction. They played often while they were playing he let me sit in his lap so I wont feel left out. I loved it.
