It was worse when Gwen spoke up tears breaking her voice. "How... could you? were getting married! How.. could you do this to me?!"
Vanessa pushed him off of her, weirdly Jason was barely half sitting, she threw a pillow on his lap to cover his nudies. Vanessa was wondering why he wasn't trying to justify himself. Normally guys would give lame excuses to justify there cheating but he wasn't even speaking.
Gwen's eyes landed, Vanessa, but didn't glare, there was only a sorrow look, the teen was only was more ashamed at that.
Vanessa tried to be silent as possible as she stood up from the bed, careful to bring the blanket with her, so that she could cover her naked body, and she firmly stared at the ground when leaving the room as she fled from the room, not daring to meet Gwen's tearful eyes once again.
She could still hear her shouting at Jason when she got downstairs. She recalled her dress being upstairs on the floor, in his room only when she got out wearing a blanket. Sure as hell she wouldn't go back there to get her dress and her bag with everything. She might as well walk home like that, after all, it was past dark already, pretty much everyone was at the bonfire party, nobody would see her, right?
Vanessa leaned, against the front door unable to move. She did move when she heard a male voice responding, with regret and guilty. "It was nothing really. I shouldn't have I'm sorry. Please, honey, forgive me. That was the worst mistake I did."
Tears streamed down Vanessa's face, It was nothing. Really she knew that. He was kind enough to not laugh at her feelings, but she was absolutely nothing to him. His words ripped her heart in pieces.
Vanessa cried all her tears off, barefooted with small blanket wrapped around her, but she was heart broken, because she moved to late.
You knew he was using you. Vanessa inner voice reminded her, as she ran through the streets without stopping, even if she could barley see. She knew nothing would come out of it, she just hoped that pain wouldn't pierce her heart.
_________
Alexa sat on the beach, she knew Dean was sat beside her, she didn't want to turn to him, or say hi. All her mind kept chanting he is leaving, he is leaving, Riley is leaving in two days. And it hurts it hurts. She started wiping off her tears with her hand.
"Are you okay Alexa?" Dean said.
He was pulling her against him. She found herself held comfortably against his side as he hugged her, she didn't really mind, In fact, she even leaned his head on his shoulder.
"You could to talk to me about anything I'm there for you." He said.
They remained there, sitting silently, Alexa's head on his shoulder, for a few moments. Sometimes having someone to hug you, was the best solution. Sometimes, all it only takes to have someone being close to comfort you just that.
She pulled away "Thank you." Alexa said truthful, even smiling fully. Dean scratched the back of head. "It was nothing really."
She wrapped her arms around his Torso, pulling him in for a hug. "I really mean it." Alexa muttered against his chest and looked up at his eyes and smiled "Your a great guy Dean I really mean it." She felt more at ease with him. Dean smiled sheepishly. She went on her tippy toes and kissed his check.
She gave him a half smile, heading back inside her house.
__________Alexa walked in the kitchen her mother was there cooking food.
"Vanessa told me to go to her house she needs to talk to me." Alexa said.
Sybil said "Spend time with Vanessa later. Your bother is leaves in late afternoon, till then, you'll be here with the rest of us. Ms. Evans is very excited to see you, says she hasn't seen you for a while."
