Alexa's POV

2 months later

Vanessa still is still in a coma I been staying here all time with Riley. I didn't even go to school anymore. I got independent home study's to do for my last year so. I could could get my diploma at home.

I just been waiting here for Vanessa to wakeup. I heard that Chad went to jail he got 30 years to serve for battery, rape, attempted murder. I'm glad I hope he rots in jail.

Riley has been worried about all because all I been doing is staying in this room. My stomach was growing again god I hate hospital food I couldn't eat it anymore.

"Come on lets go get something to eat, you been staying in this room for months." Riley said looking at me worried.

Was this a time to be happy? To go out to eat? When Vanessa in here...

My face dropped. He caught on what I was thinking. He put his hand on my head "Its okay." Those two words meant something to me

"Is it?" I said quietly.

"Yeah it is you know Vanessa wouldn't want you to beat yourself over it." He said strolling out and I hurried and followed him he was strolling out the hospital the way we entered it.

"So I thought we could go to go the Kobe steak house."

"Okay." I agreed with a smile.

I loved Japanese steakhouses.

The ride there was entertaining. Riley and I took turns rolling down our windows at stop lights shouting things at people on the sidewalk.

Riley got us a table easily, he was always good at smoothing talking people, to give us tables even without reservations.

"So my brother was in town this weekend." Riley said once we were seated.

"Is he crazy as ever?" I asked him with a laugh.

"He ended up convincing the bouncer that he was on the VIP list and got free drinks all night."

"He stepped up his game."

"I agree." Riley said and then placed his hand over his heart. "I'm proud to have a brother like him."

I couldn't help but laugh I shook my head. "He reminds me of a girl named Kayla of a girl that went to my school. One time we went to a play and she convinced our chaperone that she was her replacement." 

This time Riley laughed, taking a sip of his water the waitress just delivered.

The dinner was beyond delicious. The Japanese really knows how to run a steakhouse.

I think its better to stay at my house, to wait for Vanessa to wake up. My parents were getting worried about me. Because I spent to much time at the hospital.

He left the table he put money on the receipt the waiter gave us, as well as a tip.

"Did you have a good time?" He asked opening my car door in front of my parents house.

"I did surprisingly you always deliver."

"That I do."

He held my hand walking me to my front door.

Riley bend down to give me a goodnight kiss once I was at my front door.

I wrapped my arm's around his neck, and he wrapped arms around my waist.

I started raking my fingers through his hair, and pressed my body against his.

We remained next my front door Riley pulled away breathing heavily. "You're coming inside right?" I asked him raising up my eyebrows at him.

"I'm not sure." He said with a unsure look.

I pulled his face back to mine to show him what he was missing.

"Lets go inside." He insisted with a smile.

We went inside and all the lights were off my parents were already sleeping. We walked to my room when we got inside I locked the door behind us.

I started kissing him pulling his shirt over his head, then I and I took off my clothes. He started kissing me, then he gently pushed me on the bed and hovered over me. He started kissing my neck and when then pulled my off my panties. He started to gently trusting deep inside me I moaned.
