Okay so first of all, I am so so so so so sorry to all of you guys who have been reading this book from the very beginning and it took so long for me before I managed to update it again.

So as you may know, I am a growing person ~ well my height might stay the same but you know what I mean. School has become a Red Death's nest: Thesis, Robotics, PHYSICS, being a senior member of my chosen organization and of course some roles inside the classroom. I love it all ~ with the exception of Physics ~ and it has been fun winning competitions and performing but because of that and academic reasons I haven't been able to write.

And now I'm really glad I'm back here in Wattpad to write again. So much has happened in RTTE, and I've also stumbled upon this show called "Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir" some time now so expect to see some fanfics of that soon here in my account.

But of course the main point here is Hiccstrid. This story above all because it's nearing its climax and I wanted to finish it as soon as I can because Hiccstrid is already Canon in RTTE and here they haven't even come to the confession part so I'm working on with that.

That's all for today, thank you for giving gime and reading this.

Recap:

"Good Morning, Astrid." She knew that voice. It's her mother's.

"Mom? Is that you? Where are you? Please wake me up. I don't like the dream I'm having." She pleaded. She was getting more and more scared by the minute.

"Oh, Astrid. What are you talking about. You are awake. I'm right here beside you." Helka said. "Wait, is there something wrong?"

"Everything is black. I don't see you anywhere."

Now, without further adieu, I give you Chapter 18: Diagnosis

"Astrid? Astrid?!"

"NO!" Astrid screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Astrid? Darling, are you okay?" Helka asked worriedly.

Astrid jolted up her bed, breathing heavily. It was only a dream. More like a nightmare. But whatever it was, she was glad that it wasn't real and that it didn't happen.

She didn't know what she would do if she lost her sight. How will she be able to fight? How will she fly Stormfly? How will she help Hiccup defend the Edge? Many things could've gone wrong and she won't be able to do anything about it.

Thank Thor for waking her up.

"Astrid." Helka called again. "Did something happen?"

"No, Mom. I'm okay." She lied. She was terrified but relieved nonetheless. Astrid knows her mother. She knew her very well. Helka is a worrywart when it comes to her daughter. Astrid remembered the time when her mother won't let her use a weapon. It took her a while to finally let Astrid do it, and once she did, she gave Astrid her own double-sided axe.

Astrid didn't need Helka to worry about her right now. Not now when the Edge could be in possible danger. She have been getting suspicious why Viggo haven't been seen lately. So no, she can't have her mother worrying. If Helka found out, she wouldn't let Astrid fight. Especially since Helka knows her condition.

She can deal with it. It wasn't bringing her any physical pain only the 'Hiccup-itis'. She decided to name her condition as that because everyone is turning Hiccup around her.

Even her mother - both face and the outfit. The only thing she can distinguish by is her voice but Astrid knows that sooner or later it will also be replaced by Hiccup's nasally unique voice. But it's okay. Astrid learned to accept it. As long as she can still defend her love ones.
