I give a big shout out to theinsaneandthesane and their book i can ruin your childhood for this theory, which isnt even a theory because she/he said it was approved by the creators of Max and Ruby.
CrazedTheorist ruining childhoods since april tenth 2017
So the theory is Max and rubys parents died on their way to bunny scouts.
Max was in the car and lived but suffered several brain injurys.
Ruby is playing the roll of mother
Max grandmother molested him at a young age and so he is mute
this tranatised himso he crated a super bunny hero to save him from live.
That screwed me up.
