When you woke up from your sleep, you found yourself in a room other than what you were used to. You were quite confused by this at first, that is, until you remembered the events that had occurred before you fell asleep. You remembered Edgar, or Yuma as he'd prefer to be called nowadays.
Feeling slightly hungry, you decided to get out of bed and get dressed, before heading down the hall. Unsure of where the dining hall was, you decided to keep following until you found one of the four males. Seeing light coming from one of the rooms, you decided to peek your head through the door. In there sat Kou, Yuma and Azusa, presumably eating. As you saw this, you quietly entered the room, earning the attention of the three males.
"Mornin'. There's food for you, if you're hungry" Yuma said, before pointing to a plate standing next to him, obviously prepared for you. You did quick nod before making your way over to him, and sitting down on the chair next to him. You were sat in complete silence eating, probably making the air somewhat tense for the other three. You weren't exactly making it difficult to figure out that you were feeling pretty awkward and misplaced.
"What do you think you're doing?! Give me that" Yuma's voice suddenly broke the silence, making you look up from your plate. He had stood up abruptly, and was holding up a fried prawn, which was probably what had been yelled about. "Hey, what gives? That's my fried prawn!" Kou then exclaimed, giving a somewhat clearer picture of the situation. Although, fighting over one fried prawn was still rather unnecessary and childish.
"Don't just take the last fried prawn like it's yours! Don't you know the meaning of "equal shares"?" Yuma then asked angrily, and this whole conversation was starting to annoy you somewhat. I mean, for god's sake! Beings that physically need eat, fighting over one fried prawn! Talk about unnecessary...
"It's first come, first served!" Kou yelled, latching out to grab it. "Too slow!" Yuma then yelled as he held it up, using his height to his advantage. The whole fact that he was so much taller than his brother that he could just hold it up to prevent him from taking it made you giggle slightly. I mean, when you were kids, you were approximately the same height, and now you wouldn't have a snowball's chance in hell of reaching that prawn. Not even Kou did, as he just whined dejectedly before sitting back down again.
"You don't want it, Azusa? You didn't eat much" Yuma then asked, looking at his other brother. "I'll take it... if you're giving it to me..." he said with that same weird way of talking as yesterday. Odds were that he talked like that all the time. "That's not what I asked. Just tell me if you want it or not" he said, being awfully considerate. He may have changed a lot, but deep down he was still the same person. "Okay... I want it" Azusa said, and as a result of that Yuma immediately placed the prawn on his plate.
"What do I keep telling you?" a new voice said, making the four of you turn your attention towards its' source. "No ruckus at the dinner table" Ruki then continued before placing down another plate of fried prawns. "Hey, there's more! You should've said so!" Kou then burst out before launching at the food. How that guy ate so much and still remained skinny was a mystery.
"Don't take it before the rest of us get any! Azusa, don't just sit there. Eat before Kou takes it all" Yuma then said, rather angrily. Judging from that attitude, you could only assume that this was a regular problem they had to deal with. "You eat, too" Ruki then said, looking at the door. This made you turn around and notice that Yui was standing there, simply looking at you all. "Okay" she said before scurrying over and sitting down next to Kou.
"You made all this?" she asked, looking at the food with an amazed expression. "What if I did?" he asked, not even bothering to look up from his plate. "Uh, nothing, it's just... I'm amazed you can cook" she said, before she started mumbling about something. With you being on the other side of the table, you weren't able to make out exactly what she said, in contrast to the two males who kept bickering over their food.
"Hurry up and eat. We don't have time" Ruki then said. "Time?" she asked, seeming way more surprised than she should have been. "That's right. We have to go to school" Kou then said, having stood up somewhere along the line. Hearing this, you quickly stood up from your chair, not wanting to be an inconvenience by making them wait. "Oh, me too..." Yui then said, while standing up from her chair as well.
"Idiot. You're staying here, sow" Yuma then said, making you flinch slightly at his harsh attitude. It was like his mood had made a 180. "The Sakamaki brothers will be at school, too" Ruki then explained, making it pretty clear why you couldn't go. "That means you'll have to stay here too, (f/n)" Yuma then said, having switched back to the gentle tone of voice from before. "But..." Yui was about to object before being interrupted by Kou. "The one in charge of keeping an eye on the masochistic kittens today is Azusa-kun" he explained happily, making the two of you turn towards the male in question. "Just Eve and me... I'm so happy" he said with a smile. That sentence alone told you that until they had figured out which one of you was "Eve", they would basically just consider the both of you as "Eve".
The six of you then walked to the entrance hall together. "We're counting on you, Azusa" Ruki said when they'd reached the front door. "Yeah..." he simply answered. "See you, sow. Behave yourself" Yuma then continued before, to your surprise, walking over to you and placing a hand on your head and patted it lightly. You could've sworn you saw the slightest shade of red dust his cheeks as he did, before he turned around and headed for the door. "Take care, (f/n)" he said quietly with his back turned to you before they all walked out. Even though he couldn't see it, you smiled and nodded slightly, cheeks colored in a light shade of red.
