Chapter 7: Winds Of Change

The first thing Kazuichi did when he arrived at Hope's Peak was change his look. His dark brown eyes were now hiding behind a pair of pink contact lenses. His glasses were not essential anymore. He began to grow out his hair and dye that pink as well. He became more outspoken and dressed in a lime green jumpsuit. He wasn't the Kazuichi she once knew. He was different. He loved Hope's Peak. He gained many new friends and broke his shy exterior more. Life was great for Kazuichi.

(Y/N) on the other hand was lonely. Her once bubbly personality faded. She kept to herself and didn't' wear much color. She didn't talk much and learned to enjoy the silence. Her eyes became dull and she'd cry every night. (Y/N) did what Kazuichi had dreaded. She changed...but what else could she do when Kazuichi never was in contact with her. Since he left she never heard from him, never saw him and couldn't' visit. She missed him more than she could have ever imagined. Her best friend...her lover...was gone...

Thing is (Y/N) never knew the whole story. She didn't know the events that were going on at the school of hope...until she turned on the TV.

(Y/N) was sitting on the couch after school bundled up in a blanket. She had a cup of tea in one hand and the TV remote in the other..

"Students of Hope's Peak Reserve course are committing mass suicide!? No one saw this coming...." The reporter pauses as new information is given to him. "I-I have just been informed that class 77B has gone missing in action. I repeat class 77B is MIA."

(Y/N) stands shaking, "K-Kazu?"

"First the murders of the Student Council, the Reserve Course suicide and now Class 77B is gone. Some dark things are taking place at the school of hope. We will keep you all updated as we learn more-"
(Y/N)'s mother turns the TV off. "I think that's enough for tonight. Try to get some rest sweetie."

"B-But...Kazu..." she shakes more.

"He will be okay, he's a strong one. Plus people are searching for him and the rest of the 77th class as we speak."

She doesn't respond, but slowly walks up stairs to her room. That night she doesn't sleep.

It was second hour when the announcement went off. (Y/N) was in engineering, a class she took because of him...

"Students and staff please take all precautionary measures. Light Forest Institute and Shiba Academy have just been attacked. Word has come to us that our Toushima is next. If you can, evacuate now!"

(Y/N) is in shock.by the announcement. She stares at her project unable to move. In the background gasps, crashes, whispers and screams are heard. It's a sea of noise and she is drowning.

"Who are they?"
"How did they get in?"
"Is that a snake."
"The chick is hot."
(Y/N) looks where the fingers are pointing. Three teens stand side by side with nasty smirks on their faces. One looks like a princess with a flowing gown and blonde hair. One is surrounded by animals with a lighting bolt on his face. The last...

"I-It can't be..." (Y/N) whispers and walks closer to him. His eyes stared coldly at her.

"Should I have someone kill her off?" The blonde asks deviously

"My devas could use a snack." The snake hisses as he speaks.

He smirks, "Leave this one to me."

A chill runs up (Y/N)'s spine and she stops dead in her tracks. "K-Kazu....?"
