Seeing Tsukiko collapse, Boruto and Kouki shared worried looks and began to drag her down the hill towards the village at a faster pace. Seeing Sakura standing there with Sarada, they both smiled in relief.
"Auntie Sakura!" They both called out as they neared them. Sakura's head snapped up and she saw them pulling Tsukiko down which caused her eyes to widen and expression to become worried. Rushing over, she helped them carry Tsukiko towards a barn where she laid her down on the wooden table.
"Boys, leave the barn. Go with Sarada to keep an eye out for the others. Your mum will be ok Kouki." Sakura reassured them, shooing them away before getting to work on Tsukiko's wounds. Grabbing their wrists, Sarada led the boys away from the barn and back towards the bench they had been sat on before. Sitting down and watching out over the hill, they sat in silence before Kouki felt tears running down his cheeks. Sarada and Boruto watched him, soft smiles on their faces as they hugged him between them. It was his fault that this happened, that she had to rescue them, and that she was now injured. How could he face her or his dad?....
"She'll be fine and be wanting to see you. None of this matters to her." Sarada informed him, knowing how her aunt Tsukiko would react.
"You're right. The first thing she'll do is demand to see you're ok." Boruto chuckled, also knowing his aunt well.
"I wonder why papa and uncle Naruto aren't back yet...." Sarada thought out loud, causing Boruto to tense up.
"Dad? He came?" He asked, shocked to hear that his father had turned up and wasn't in Konoha acting as Hokage.
"Of course he came. I heard from mama that he refused to stay in Konoha until you were safe back home." Sarada grinned, seeing Boruto's eyes light up as he realised how much his father cared for him. He chose him over Konoha...... That meant the world to Boruto who rarely ever saw his father, but saw him more now after auntie Tsukiko became his helper. Worrying about his father instantly, his eyes scanned over the hill before spotting Sasuke and Naruto making their way down the hill.

The two fathers spotted the kids sitting on the bench and smiled in relief upon seeing them all safe together. Boruto leapt up and rushed over before coming to a stop a few meters in front of his dad. Silence passed between them before Naruto gave in, knowing Tsukiko would smack him if he didn't express to Boruto how he felt. Stepping forward, Naruto kneeled down in the snow and pulled his son to his chest. Boruto's eyes widened before a faint blush spread across his face at the unexpected display of affection from his father.
"I'm so glad you're ok." He breathed out, holding his son tight and pressing a kiss to his forehead. Tears welled up in Boruto's eyes and he wrapped his arms around Naruto's neck, holding him tight as he buried his face into his father's chest.
"I'm so sorry for doubting you." Boruto apolgised as he cried into his father's chest, feeling embarrassed about doing so but finding that he was feeling relief mainly. Naruto smiled as he held his son, picking him up and carrying him down the hill towards Sarada and a crying Kouki.
"Where's your mum?" Sasuke asked, glancing around before spotting Sakura in the barn with a serious look on her face. He indicated to the barn and Naruto followed his line of sight, understanding who Sakura was healing.
"What happened to that man?" Kouki asked, calming himself down at the mention of his mum. Sasuke and Naruto glanced over at each other before smirking.
"No longer a worry." Naruto informed them, feeling happy that he'd gotten to fight with Sasuke once again.

A few hours passed before Sakura came out of the barn looking pleased with herself. Kouki ran over and asked for his mother, then found out that she was stable and perfectly fine. The wounds had been healed and she was just resting now. Entering into the barn alone, Kouki moved over to the table where his mother rested peacefully. The clothes had been replaced by Sakura with clean ones and there were no marks whatsoever on her body. Feeling tears once again well up in his eyes, he gripped onto her hand and rested his forehead against it. Feeling her hand tighten in his, his head snapped up to see her smiling over at him. Not being able to hold himself back, he leapt onto the table and hugged her tightly, crying into her chest. Tsukiko held back on the wince and smiled, hugging her son back while sitting up so he was sat in her lap, curled up against her chest. The barn was filled with the sounds of Kouki crying for a good ten minutes before he calmed down and just stayed snuggled up against his mum.
"I'm sorry." He whispered out, his voice full of regret.
"For what?" Tsukiko ased, smiling warmly down at him.
"For what I said to you before. I don't hate you at all mum, I love you. I'm so sorry for getting you hurt and not listening to you. I'm just so sorry." He explained, holding her tightly. Tsukiko chuckled at her sons apology.
"It's not your fault Kouki. It's hers. She manipulated you and if I had just told you about her in the first place, none of this would have happened. Don't apologise, it wasn't your fault. None of us here blame you and nor does your father who's waiting for you at home. Even Aimaru knows it wasn't really you and is waiting for you at home with your father and Akamaru. I love you too Kouki, so much." She spoke softly, her words full of warmth and love. Both of them remained silent in the barn, enjoying the others warmth and comfort. Kouki was reassured by hearing his mother's words and the truth within them. He knew that his mother wouldn't lie to him and so he began to not worry so much about returning home to see his father.

All three families had been reunited and were happily enjoying the others company. Kouki and Tsukiko remained hugging inside the barn, Kouki calming himself down with his mother's comfort. While Naruto continued to hold onto Boruto, who had begun to grow even more embarrassed and was trying to escape his father's grasp, laughing as he did so. Sakura, Sarada and Sasuke were on the bench, glad that they were all ok and with each other once more. Sasuke regretted leaving the village so much and so he wasn't seeing his daughter growing up, but he knew that he would make it a mission to return home more often to see how his family was and how his daughter was growing stronger, along with his only student Boruto. The Yukimura Village celebrated after receiving word that both Rin and Gareth were dead, glad to finally be free from their terror. The day had ended well, and the three children were grateful for their parents rescuing them while coming out of the fights alive. Their lives were finally looking up and Tsukiko felt blissful at the fact that she had her loving friends and family around her. Love and friendship truly were powerful things.....
