DON'T FORGET TO VOTE AND COMMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DJ woke up in her house. She was still trying to get used to the new place. Even though the house was bigger and her room was bigger. She still seemed uncomfortable. But she placed everything where they were in her old room.
DJ had so much on her mind. She wondered what the second day at a new school was going to be like. First day of school was like an entire week.
DJ stayed in her room brushing her hair back into a ponytail. She looked across at a photo, which was a photo of Brian and her on their first trampoline.
'You miss him don't you' said a young voice out of nowhere. It was David. DJ turned away acting strong but he didn't seem too convinced. DJ didn't speak for a while; she didn't want to talk about Brian.
'So changing the subject, how your first day of school' asked David. DJ felt as if David was acting like a father to her at the moment.
'Why?' DJ asked.
'Come on, it's worth the chat anyway, you wouldn't talk yesterday afternoon' said David. He did have a point though. DJ didn't talk at all to anyone not even during dinner. She was thinking too much about everything happening so fast.
'Okay then, it was fine I guess' DJ said to him hoping he wouldn't convince her to tell him the whole story.
'Anything to do with a guy with the name Mark' replied David. What the hell? How did he find out about that?
'What? How did you find out about that?' said DJ.
'Well you see my new friend called me because I told him my number at school and he asked if you were my sister and I said yes then he said his sister told him that you were talking future plans to this Mark guy' answered David.
DJ knew who it was but she had to make sure. 'What's his last name?' asked DJ.
'Uh I don't I think it was something that started with G' David replied. He knew because most of the boys around primary sometimes called the person by their last names.
'Something like Gregen?' asked DJ.
'Yeah that's it his name was Steve Gregen' Mark said not suspecting any sense or worry.
'Ugh Chelsea Gregen' complained DJ it depression.
'Hey cheer up sis, it's just rumours they'll go away soon besides sticks and stones may break your bones but words will never hurt you'
'Yeah I've heard that a million times' replied DJ exaggerating. She hadn't heard it a million times exactly but enough times to get annoyed when you already understand the quote.
'I'm just trying to help'
'Well to be honest I bet it's not going to go away anyway, rumours stay in everyone's head forever and especially girls, cause all we can do is gossip and gossip and besides it's not like Mark and I are in a relationship anyway' said DJ crossing her arms. DJ then got a headache.
'Look sis, just have some breakfast and calm ya farm, just remember you can't change the past but you can change the future' said David patting her on the back then leaving her room.
What was she meant to do to change the future? Make a giant speech in front of the entire school? It was only the second day of school today and all this was happening? She desperately needed Brian; he would always know what to do in situations like this.
Out of the thought DJ headed downstairs. The stair corridor was much more spacious than the ones at her old house. The stair corridor at her other house was smaller and sometimes you felt claustraphobic walking through it.
