After music class DJ felt so strange. Ugh! Why must this happen? But then again something came across DJ. DJ liked him calling her hot, OMG! DJ had a crush on Mark. Should she tell anyone?
DJ had a big headache and what better to make it worse than science. DJ hated science. I mean you're probably thinking why hate science when you get to do cool experiments. But the thing was science was confusing you were not judged on your experimenting skills you were judged on what you know.
But DJ did put in her commitment. But she only got B's for science but it's better than a C, right?
Right now she was making a circuit with Celeste and Jay.
'I think you connect this one to this one and that should get the light bulb working' said Celeste as she zapped herself with one of the wires.
'Whoa shit are you okay?' asked Jay laughing a little but of course it be rude not to even care, i mean what if she got burnt to the bone?
'Yeah i'm fine it's just a zap only 6 volts' said Celeste looking at the volt box. DJ had a look at it carefully. She knew something was wrong and was determined to fix it no matter how much she hated science.
'I think it's this wire to this one and swap this wire with that one and that should work' said DJ as she switched the wires around. The light slowly went on as smiles were brought to all their faces.
'Yes we got it not we have 10 minutes to chat' said Celeste sitting on the chair.
'Okay now Celeste hit us with your latest updates' said Jay pretending she has microphone in her hand and pretending she was a TV presenter and with a deep voice too.
Celeste and DJ laughed. 'Well, we had cheerleading first break and our captain announced that we are choosing the captain for next year today and everybody voted and...guess who's the new cheerleading captain next year' said Celeste excited as Jay gave her a big hug.
Usually when people say that with excitement it means that they are.
'Congratulations Celeste' said DJ giving Celeste a hug.
'Now DJ how did the auditions with Mrs Edson go' asked Jay.
'Yeah what did she say?' added Celeste. They stared at her in excitement and waiting for an answer.
'It went great i guess' replied DJ. Her headache came back again and thinking of that music practise meant thinking about Mark. She had to speak her mind this time and she had to tell them.
'Did it go alright, what did she say?' asked Celeste.
'No really it went fine she put me with a song but it involves singing and then i asked if i was singing it with someone else and then she said no but then i said but i can't sing' before DJ could say anything else Jay inturrupted.
'What? Why did you say that everyone can sing and i bet you'll be a great singer, even better than me' said Jay.
'What? No! I haven't even heard you sing' said DJ.
'Well when you do you'll find out how horrrible i am' said Jay of course she was joking but i didn't blame her. A lot of people say that so they don't brag about it. It's quite common.
'Jay stop being stupid you're a good singer, FULL STOP' said Celeste seriously but not getting angry at her.
'Anyway what else happened' said Celeste continuing back into the previous subject.
