"The flight from Stamford, Connecticut to Paris, France is ready to take-off!" The speaker roars at exactly 7:00 AM.
I'm securely buckled in the seat of which I share with Brandon. He is sitting by the window of which I don't mind because of my phobia of heights.
"You okay, Allie Bear?" Brandon asks, looking concerned, yet smiling.
"Yeah, I'm fine...just a little nervous, heh," I reply, giggling awkwardly.
My arms are shaking. My knees are wobbling. Goosebumps go up and down my spine. A "Brr" escapes my mouth when the cold air hits me.
"The airplane is freezing!" I complain, shivering and rubbing my shoulders for warmth.
I must've been pretty darn loud because there are turned heads focused on me. I ignore those nosy people, blushing furiously.
Brandon gets out a fuzzy lime green blanket and sprawls it across both of us. I rest my head on his shoulder, finally feeling cozy.
"Love ya, Allie Bear," He whispers in my ear.
"Right back at ya, Brandie Bear," I whisper in his ear.
We fall asleep in each others' arms.
Unfortunately, only Brandon sleeps soundly throughout the flight along with Delilah, Erin, and John. I wake up every hour or so, running to the bathroom to puke. The flight attendant looks worried and weary, but I quickly explain to her that I'm pregnant, and she nods her head understandably.
Finally, at exactly 2:00 PM (Paris time) the airplane arrives at our aspired destination!
Everyone practically leaps out of the airplane, excitedly breathing into the new, fresh Paris air.
"I'm so glad we're here!" I squeal.
"Me too!" Delilah squeals, grinning.
Brandon grins and chimes in happily, "Me three!"
The three of us throw into a fit of giggles including Erin and John.
"Let's get the heck outta there then we'll go to our hotel and after we unpack we'll go to some sort of nice fancy restaurant," John says, taking charge, but with a happy grin.
"OKAY!" The rest of us shouts in unison.
In just a few short hours, I'll be having a total blast in the greatest, funnest, most romantic city in the world...
