I bit back a sob as Percy moaned in pain. After Percy took the hit (literally) for Sara, the ocean dude, Poseidon, had gone berserk and screamed at Zeus for hurting Percy, who was apparently his son.

As all the gods began arguing, Sara slipped off our ropes, and we got Percy and snuck out.

Right now we were hiding out in the Arrowcave as Percy recovered. I hadn't bothered explaining to Wally about the whole "Artemis was our mother" situation, mostly because I didn't understand it myself.

Cisco and Felicity were doing feverish research on the Greek gods and demigods, specifically on Artemis. Oliver, Diggle, and Barry were strategizing, while Caitlin was tending to Percy. Wally never left my side. I was thankful that Dad was out of town.

"I got something!" Felicity announced, making us all flinch. "What is it?" Lightning followed Barry as he rushed to look at her computer screen. "So, if the gods were real, we would have noticed by now, right? So, I thought about back to some book I read (A/N should I break the fourth wall? Mayyyybe 😏), and it talked about the influence of Greek gods specifically in America. Zeus' symbol, the eagle? It's on the quarter." She then quickly listed a few other connections between them, until Cisco shouted.

"Guys, guys, back in ancient times, there were monsters, who attacked demigods." "And what are demigods?" Oliver asked.

"Demigods are the offspring between an immortal god and a mortal. Demigods are known to possess powers coordinating with their godly parent, and have engrained superior reflexes, along with fluency in the language of which their godly side is based off of.

"Demigods, as well as gods and monsters, are completely fictional, characterized by mythologies, such as Greek, Roman, Norse, and Egyptian." He read.

"But we know that they aren't fictional. Percy is clearly a demigod, and a Greek one. His father is Poseidon, Greek god of the sea, and the inscription on his sword is in Greek, and means 'Riptide' in English."

"Yeah, Iris..." Barry scratched his head. "It's just a pen." I frowned. "Why can't you guys see his sword?" Cisco or Felicity might've found an answer, but right then Caitlin screamed "He's stirring!", and we all rushed to Percy's bedside.

I saw his fist clench, then his lips twitch, and a groan came out. Then he became still and silent again.

All of a sudden, a piercing, blood curdling scream erupted from his mouth. His muscles were tight now, and his face was white.

His eyes shot open, and in a flash (A/N get it? Because it's the Fla- never mind) Riptide was drawn and he was on his feet, although shaky.

"Where am I? Wait, Wally? I didn't recognize you without your banana costume." Wally grimaced, and I stifled a giggle. "Percy, we're hiding out in the Arrowcave. Have you ever heard of the Green Arrow?"

"I've heard about a lot of different arrows, been shot by different types of arrows, and met two archery gods. But, no, never heard of 'im"

Oliver stepped out from behind a shelf with his hood up, and Percy swung his sword in a threatening arc towards him.

"Woah, kid, watch the blade! I don't prefer getting decapitated tonight." "Show yourself!" Percy demanded.

Oliver sighed and pushed his hood down, while taking off his mask. Percy gasped, and gave a short bow. "My apologies, Lord Apollo. But, please, do not tell You-Know-Who where we are."

Oliver furrowed his brow. "You-Know-Who?" "Yeah, the big man in campus. The boss. The big cheese. The big katana. Ol' Thunderpants himself!"

"Yeah, kid, Zeu-" Percy rushed forward and covered his mouth. On an instinct, Oliver grabbed his hand and flipped him, but Percy took over and landed it in a somersault and muttered "rude."

Before any of this could speak, Percy started thinking out loud. "You're clearly not Apollo. He wouldn't flip me. He wouldn't even flip me off. Actually, scratch that. I have a tendency to annoy the gods. So, you could be a Clear Sighted mortal, but given your archery abilities, I wouldn't rule out son of Apollo. Do you have ADHD or dyslexia?" "No." "Do you know where both of your parents are?"

"Yeah. In the grave."
