Josh was trying to finish his essay for school, but Brendon wouldn't goddamn stop singing. The essay was due tomorrow, so frustration was literally all Josh was currently feeling. He was pulling his curly pink hair, groaning at each of Brendon's incredibly high notes.
The water pouring over Brendon's naked, muscular body was almost not hearable from Brendon's loud and strong voice.
Don't get Josh wrong, Brendon had a beautiful voice. Josh just wanted to get this done.
Brendon exited the bathroom of their dorm. A fluffy, white towel was wrapped around his waist and he was just hitting a very high note.
Josh and Brendon shared a room in a student home for high schoolers who lived far away from their parents' homes. The rooms usually held up to six guys, but Brendon and Josh were lucky enough to be alone in the six-bed room.
Josh covered his ears with his hands "Can you please shut up?"
Brendon shut his mouth for a moment and grinned at Josh. Josh nodded thankfully, turning his head from Brendon back to his hopeless essay. But Brendon then started singing again.
Josh groaned. Three hours of sitting in front of his laptop and he's only got the title so far.
Fifteen minutes later, Brendon was at the door, putting his white Converse sneakers on; large soft coat covering his entire body.
Josh sighed, shutting his laptop and turning his chair toward Brendon "Where are you going?"
Brendon was caught off guard "Who? Me?"
"No, Donald Trump" Josh rolled his eyes "Of course you"
"Just out" Brendon shrugged, standing up tall and smiling widely at his roommate.
"Where?"
"You wanna go with me?" Brendon offered, eyebrow rising.
Josh sighed heavily, standing up "Not like I'll get any studying done anyways. Sure, where are we going?"
"You'll see" Brendon assured.
"What do I wear?" Josh questioned as he approached his closet.
"Just some skinny jeans and some tight shirt"
"Why tight shirt?" Josh frowned.
"To show off your muscles, dummy" Brendon chuckled.
"Why would I- Ah, forget it. Not like your answers will do any help" the pink-haired boy waved him off.
"Exactly" Brendon bowed like a magician does at the end of his show.
Josh rolled his eyes again. He picked out a plain blue T-shirt and denim skinny jeans. He added black Converse sneakers to the outfit.
Brendon clapped once as he watched Josh approach him "Ready?"
"Whatever" Josh replied lazily with yet another eye roll.
They walked outside and Brendon locked the door. Josh followed as Brendon hopped along the way happily. The air was a little but chilly and Josh really could've taken a jacket. It was dark outside as the night fell ages ago.
They stopped in front of a building filled with a near million neon lights.
"A casino?!" Josh's jaw dropped.
"Yup" Brendon grinned innocently.
"Brendon" Josh began, staring straight into Brendon's eyes "We're nineteen years old. The sign says 'entrance forbidden to persons under the age of 23'. Can you not read or something?"
