"I've done nothing wrong! I just wanted food! I want Petey! I'm-"
"Shh, it's okay Patrick" Josh tried to calm the man down, but Patrick's eyes were plastered to Tyler and fear couldn't just vanish from his eyes. There wasn't a particular reason as to why he stared at Tyler and not Troy. Tyler sighed heavily, sad because he looked just like the man who tried to murder the man lied before him. Josh lied his fingers onto Patrick's thin arm "There's five identical brothers, y'know? These aren't the one who hurt you"
But Patrick couldn't trust him. He was too far off out of his mind and out of moral thinking. He was scared of Tyler and Troy and he felt incredibly unsafe.
"I think you should leave, you're scaring him" Josh whispered over to his fiancé and future brother-in-law. Tyler shot him a semi-angry stare at that. After the stare was held for a few longer moments, Josh concluded the brothers were in fact not going to leave. Josh thought that was incredibly rude of them.
"Don't hurt Pete!" Patrick pleaded in a whiny tone; he did look like he was on the verge of tears. Josh gave him a smile and held Patrick's arm. He then turned his head toward Tyler and rose his brows impatiently.
Tyler exhaled shakily, difficultly moving his eyes from Josh down to Patrick "I'll do everything in my power to keep your friends and family safe"
"Th- Thank you" Patrick now spoke more softly, quieter. He rose his hands and held them to his chest, thus escaping Josh's hold and covering himself up with the sheet. Josh was offended by the fact Patrick didn't want to be held by him, but frankly everyone's been very rude and immoral to Josh lately and it was just dumb. In Josh's opinion, that is.
"Tyler, Troy, come fast, you need to see this"
The nurse, Patrick, Troy, Josh and Tyler turned toward the door rapidly, eyeing the intruder. It was Thomas and he looked nowhat joyful. He actually looked very serious and his brothers were instantly alerted. Tyler and Troy exchanged a look and Tyler grabbed Josh's hand. But he stopped.
Tyler exhaled firmly, shaking his head and letting go of Josh. Before his fiancé could complain or comment, the Princes were out of the room and Josh was left with Patrick and the nurse.
"Where are they going?" Josh demanded the answer from the nurse.
The woman shook her head rapidly, shrugging "I don't know, sir. I really don't know"
Josh rolled his eyes, sighing as he looked down at Patrick again. The man looked a tad more relaxed.
The Princes, however, met all together in the Great Hall. There was a table temporarily set in the middle of the large room and a whole bunch of papers were already atop it. Theodore sat at the end of the table and rested his elbows on the table, his face buried in his hands. Tyler and Troy quickly followed Thomas to the place where Taylor stood next to his older brother. They all gathered around Theo.
"What's wrong?" Tyler asked. This looked nowhat good. He had a wedding to organize, there had to be a giant celebration of the first Prince to marry. And this table in the middle of the Great Hall meant zero good. It meant all bad that could be. This table gets set here when the island is under attack.
But when the island is under attack, the first thing to do is get everyone to safety and making sure the army is in position. The Princes have done none of that. It confused Tyler.
"Theo, what's going on?" Tyler asked again.
Theodore exhaled through his mouth, rising his head and holding his cheeks "I have... no idea"
"Mother and Father sent us a message" Taylor said.
Taylor pushed the paper from his lap in front of his brothers and they all leaned down to read the words written in their Mother's handwriting. The sight made things even worse. Their parents never write messages; that's done by servants or officials. The King and The Queen never spend their time on writing messages or any documents whatsoever.
"Where are they now? How did the message get here?" Troy asked, trying to stay as calm as he possibly could.
Taylor and Theodore nodded toward the ceiling the same time and all the quintuplets were looking up now. A small falcon sat on the chandelier.
"Ronald!" Thomas grinned, putting his arm out and waiting for the bird to land on his upper arm. Ronald flew a quick circle around the entire Great Hall before landing onto Thomas' arm.
"They sent Ronald?!" Tyler's eyes popped in worry. Their parents were against using animals for messaging. This was truly something bad.
"We have to prepare" Theo said with a firm nod.
"But, we've never done this alone..." Taylor looked down at his feet, nervousness and fear noticeable in his voice.
"Don't worry, Tay" Troy rubbed his brother's shoulder "Everything's gonna be okay"
But Tyler wasn't so sure. He looked down at the message one last time.
