"Day 2, starts with a bright, sunny morning! How do you feel about that?", Aidan asked me, as I sneaked out of my house."Bright, sunny morning?",I echoed as I glanced around.
Was he serious? I could barely see anything. It was freaking 4 am in the morning.
Cocking an brow at him, I crossed my arms over my chest.
There stood Aiden in gray sweatpants and a sleeveless white t-shirt that showed off his abs. He had a cigeratte popped in his mouth that gave him the whole bad-boy look he was always going for."You smoke?", I squinted at him.
Aiden shrugged as he held out a hand for me."Really?", I muttered at his lack of response.
"Smoking causes cancer and cancer kills."
He stared at me with a dead- pane look. "Look who's speaking.", he spoke under his breath, but I managed to catch it.
I flinched at his words. Struggling to keep my emotions in place, I swallowed hard. Nodding, I stepped away from his outstretched hand. I put on a tough facade to show him that his words didn't affect me at all.
Too late.
Aiden sighed heavily as he raked a hand through his dark hair. He stared at me with a look that I couldn't justify.
Aiden Maddox confused me. He wasn't an easy person to read. His emotions and feelings were totally composed, not allowing a glance at his true self. I wanted to figure him out so bad. But yet, I told myself to stay away and not get attached.
"Look", he sighed again, "I'm so sorry. I'm an idiot. I'm reckless and an impulsive person. You have to understand I'm an asshole. I don't hold back, and I don't sugarcoat my words. I know my words hurt you and I'm so sorry for that."
I stared at the dark haired boy and nodded. He smiled at me. Aiden threw his cigeratte on the ground and stepped on it.
"Ok, so wanna tell me where are we going?", I asked him, quickly changing the subject.
With a smirk plastered onto his face he grabbed my hand and guided me towards a huge, attractive looking motorcycle.
He stared at me expectingly.
"What?", I asked him. "Let's go. I want to try this baby", I told the surprised boy, as I ran my hand across the black, leather seat.
"Ok.... I thought it would be difficult for me to get you on my bike.", he admitted.
"Why would you think that?", I asked him.
Aiden shook his head and looked away, scratching the back of his neck, as if embarrassed.
I rolled my eyes and climbed the bike and patted at the green-eyed boy to climb in.
"Hold tight", he instructed me as he handed me a helmet.
"What about you?", I asked him referring to the helmet he put on my head.
"I don't need it", that's all I heard, as he revved the engine.
I wrapped my arms around Aiden's waist as the monster bike picked up speed.
