Chapter 12: The Past and The Present

Asuna was getting dressed and covering her puffy eyes with make-up, from the crying she had done. She was also trying to figure out exactly what she was going to tell Rin. Would she be honest about her feelings? What even were her feelings though. She thought about all this throughout getting ready. Rin was thinking very deeply about, how he was going to tell Asuna his feelings. And preparing himself emotionally for any outcome. While he, himself was figuring things out, he heard an unexpected knock at his door. When he opened it, he saw someone he hadn't seen in a year. (Before, I mentioned Rin was in love with someone once before. So much, so, that he couldn't describe the emotions he felt with her but, she had rejected Rin's feelings. That's when Rin became a fuck boy, who didn't care who he fucked.) he saw his first lover and the girl he had lost his virginity with. "Hey Rin, do you remember me?" Rin looked at her in shock. It was like, the emotions he had buried for her were coming back. "B-Bella?" She smiled brightly and glomped him to the ground. "You do remember!" Bella was Rin's, senpai by two years. Back when he met her, she was the type of girl to sleep with any guy with zero emotions involved. She was known as a cheater and a whore. At the time Rin was in his first year of high school and he noticed her mature personality. She was cute yet outgoing, that made Rin fall in love instantly, as he was just a young boy. He had never experienced anything physical back then or any emotions like the ones he had felt for her. He confessed to her after two months of getting to know her. She never truly responded to his emotions, she just went straight to starting the physical relationship with him. That went on for quite a while until, boyfriend after, boyfriend left her and yet he still sticked with her throughout it all, Rin asked her what her true feelings for him were though. She did nothing but smile at him, the way she always did and said, "Sorry Rin. You're just another boy on my list." That broke Rin's heart. He separated his ways from her. The last thing he had heard from her existence, was a rumor going around school that, she changed schools because nobody there interested her anymore. Rin hadn't talked to her since the last time they had sex. After that Rin became known as names such as, over used boy toy, slutty whore, or fuck boy. He no longer cared about the emotions in sex. He without even realizing it, became her. He felt her thin arms hugging him tightly. At that moment he also felt, the emotions he had buried for her. She kissed his cheek and said, "How are you Rinny boi?" Rin looked at her and slightly blushed while pushing her away, "Y-you know I don't like being called that." She laughed and pinched his nose, "But it's the nickname I gave you~" he felt a buzz from his back pocket. He had gotten a text. When he pulled out his phone he noticed it was the unknown number again. Before he could even read the text, Bella took his phone out of his hand and ran off with it throughout the house, "Bella give me back my phone!" Rin said as he chased her frantically. She giggled and said, "Nope! I'm in town one night so, you have to tell all your bitches that you're busy tonight." Rin looked annoyed and said, "Bella I'm not joking with you. Give me, my phone!" Bella began reading the message that said, "Rin, I'm here where are you?" Bella rolled her eyes and said, "This hoe sounds boring. Totes not worth your time." Bella began to type, Rin panicked and grabbed her wrist, "Stop Bella!" She smirked at Rin and jumped up to give him a quick kiss and said, "Too late Rinny. I already called her off." Rin took the phone away from her and read the text Bella had sent, "I won't be going. anyways, Just message some other guy hoe." He looked furiously at Bella and said, "Bella, what the fuck?! Why did you send that?" Bella took it as a joke and said, "Come on, I just wanted to play with the over used boy toy, I hear so much about now a days~" he looked at her seriously and said, "Why did you really come here Bella?" She smirked while gently caressing his cheek and said, "I just told you. I hear so much about you now a days I want to see for myself how you are in bed~" Rin gently removed her hand from his cheek and said, "Did you ever think maybe people exaggerate a bit much?" She looked upset that he removed her hand and said, "You still love me don't you? So why can't you give up one girl and give me some action instead?" She started to pull Rin near her and kiss his neck. Rin very carefully pushed her a side and began to walk away saying, "Stop it now. I have something much more important to do than, be here fucking you." She looked at him angrily and said, "Hey! What happened to the way you used to treat me? I was always your top priority. I'm the only one you really love." He turned around with a smile and said, "You're right. You were the only person I loved. Even a few weeks ago I still loved you but, I've found someone much more then you ever will be." Bella hugged Rin from behind and said, "Are you really going to choose her over me?" Rin pulled away from her thin arms hug and responded, "She's my top priority now. Even if she doesn't feel the same way, shes still the one." Bella crossed her arms as, she saw Rin walking away. She was left in his house alone watching as Rin went off to find her replacement. She was finally feeling, what he felt when she walked away from him emotionless. Rin, frantically called Asuna, sending her text after text, leaving her voicemails. He got to the park and there he saw Asuna. She was sitting on the corner of the fountain, her hair down and blowing in the slight wind. She was wearing his jacket and he noticed the phone in her hand. He ran up to her and said, "Asuna!" He tapped her shoulder just to see, Asuna's eyes filled with tears as she began sniffling. She blushed and smiled slightly, "O-oh...Hi R-Rin..." he felt terrible. He saw her puffy eyes and phone screen semi broken. He hugged her tightly, "I'm sorry!" Asuna whispered in his ear, "Why did you say such a harsh thing if you love me?" Rin hugged her even more tightly and said, "Asuna senpai, I swear to God, that text wasn't sent by me!" She looked to the ground and said, "Really? So who sent it then..." Rin didn't want to say exactly who but, by not telling her, things could be worse. He told her, "It was someone I used to know. She passed by my house unexpectedly and expected more then she would get from me..." Asuna pushed Rin away and said, "Why did you come here, when you could have stayed with her?" He patted her head and said, "Because you're my top priority, Asuna senpai. No matter what, you're still the one person I'd rather be with." Asuna took in a deep breath and wiped away her tears. She looked at Rin and said, "Rin, you said you wanted to know my feelings. And that's what I'm here to tell you."
